I was made extremely welcome by all the staff at the Royal Mezbon. It is a little further from the centre than other places I’ve stayed in Tashkent, but that was no problem. The staff are brilliant, and their knowledge and soundness of advice, as well as their efficiency was very much appreciated! The room was clean, with a very comfortable bed and shower! I took the opportunity to have a wellness massage, and the masseuse, Xadicha, was very professional and caring. I felt very relaxed and pampered, and my muscles recovered far more quickly than they otherwise would have! Most of all I loved the restaurant. The coffee, croissants and meals are superbly prepared, and I can’t fault the atmosphere it gives.

Location close to the airport (5 to 10 min by car, depending on the time of the day). There is a very good restaurant in a cellar 30 m away. A supermarket, other shops and restaurants are 5 min walk away. The room was big, had everything one needs, was clean and comfortable. The bathroom as well. I left before breakfast, but have seen on some posters that they offer 3 types of breakfast. The young boys at the reception were polite, helpful and spoke good English.

My daughter and I can only confirm previous reviews: Pleasant hotel surroundings (several embassies present), very helpful and friendly staff with 24/7 availability. Anvar was highly supportive with relevant tips about locations and transport, even on our onward journey, speaks fluent English. Clean rooms. Highly recommendable.
