The beach is awesome!!!!
The beach is awesome!!!! And free dolphin sightings were a major plus! The water is clear & clean, the sand is soft, & the town is very laid-back & quiet. Great place to relax & reset for the whole family. Food is better in Savannah though, FYI!

I loved the Monday afternoon farmers market.
I loved the Monday afternoon farmers market. We did not like our dog could not go on the beach. Fin's pizza is the best. It is easy to get around Tybee, but you do need to pay attention to the one way streets.

Tybee Island was once a fantastic getaway destination.
Tybee Island was once a fantastic getaway destination. However, in recent years, the influx of tourists, children, and partygoers has diminished its charm. With each visit, we notice a decline, and I hope measures can be taken to reverse this trend. On a positive note, Skampy's offers excellent food conveniently located near the beach.
While Tybee Island offers beautiful beaches, a lighthouse, and good dining options, there seems to be limited additional activities. It's ideal for a day trip, but may not provide enough entertainment for an extended stay.

Tybee is by far the most down to earth friendly people I have ever met. I never felt uneasy anywhere on the island nor did I ever see or hear of anything bad going on. The views are stunning. The food is delicious. You truly feel like a local when your there. My only complaint about the whole island in general was the parking fees, of course you can just walk or ride bikes. I may be bias because where I live there is non anywhere remotely close to me. But at one point we went to north beach which has a HUGE parking lot and there was like 3 cars including mine in it and to pay for parking for a 30 min walk before we drove home kind of sucked but I don't know how strict they are I never seen anyone check but I am a honest person so I paid my part. With all the things to do on Tybee and how wonderful of an experience it is something as simple as parking fees should not detour you in the slightest! I HIGHLY recommend giving Tybee a visit, and visit they lighthouse and museums while your there. You will thank me later :)

Stayed one night but was able to walk the beach which is across the street from The Dunes hotel and a block to the beach. Picked up some shells but forgot to bring my bag so only got a handful. There were big waves as the tide was coming in. The restaurant Sting Ray’s had awesome food. It rained overnight and in the morning so I started home early. Couldn’t do anything in the rain which was disappointing but mother nature had other plans for the day.
What I seen of the Island I would have liked to spend more time there.
This house is updated but still has all the Tybee Island charm. Everything was great, the owner thought of ever little detail to make their guests vacation great; the beds were comfy, towels were incredibly soft, the water pressure was AMAZING, the kitchen had great pots and pan not cheap ones from The Dollar Tree.
Location was perfect....easy walk to the beach and to restaurants. We will be back for sure!
Location of the house is fantastic. We loved that is so close to North Beach, Tybee Island Lighthouse and the Marine Science Center. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived and it is decorated so cute and 'beachy'. The screened in front porch was a favorite spot every morning to start the day with a cup of coffee and every evening to just wind down from the busy day.
I was visiting Tybee Island for my friend's wedding. The rental was extremely clean and had everything that you needed there. The property was only a text or phone call away. The beds were so comfortable. I slept very well. The neighbors were so welcoming. Very chill and peaceful. Best rental experience and more affordable than others.
The location is excellent. A short stroll to the beach and local bars, the free bike hire is essential here and was very useful getting about the island
Everything u need in the property, outside space was nice down on the creek
Shame there wasn’t a cooker as would have been more useful than just an oven
The absolute best place we have ever stayed. If you're thinking of coming to Tybee Island, check here first. The inn is awesome. The grounds and building are beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious. The hosts make you feel like family.
Rent the bikes onsite and explore.
We enjoyed meeting the other couple that was there. We enjoyed the wine and cheese on the porch. We liked how close we were to the beach. We enjoyed Shelly and her mom - they were so welcoming and helpful in recommending local attractions.
The owner and her son were very friendly. The motel was clean and comfortable. It was located midway between the south end of the island and the north end of the island, It is located close to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.
The price you pay is because it is walking distance to the beach and had a restaurant across the street, ice cream parlor my kids loved. Beds were not as comfy but it served it’s purpose. Nice size frig for food.
Everything was great! Super comfortable beds and soft bed sheets. Enough towels for everybody. It was really good we were able to use 2 beach chairs provided. Good A/C, all what you may need to cook and more!
Location was awesome. Parking was great. Ideally great and safe area able to walk to the beach easy. Food restaurants were in walking distance and so were the bars for a evening drinks.
It was in walking distance to the beach. It was a very quiet place. Overall me and my wife really enjoyed the stay. We would book with this place again if we stay in Tybee island again
