The population in San Jose is more diverse than any place I've visited. Welcoming people. All kinds of ethnic food available. Beach is an hour away. No one lays on their horn when you're driving! Amazing.

The area around the hotel was perfect.
The area around the hotel was perfect. It was close to the office I needed to be at every day, close to some very great restaurants, and close to Fed Ex which I need to do some traveling office work. Frankly, this hotel in the area it is in is awesome. I strongly recommend the Flemingo Hotel to all that need to stay in the area of San Jose.

Food and services were expensive.
Food and services were expensive. I had paid $6 for a brownie from a nearby milk bar next to my hotel and I was prompted to tip for take away. Open air car park next to Westin San Jose was $25 to $30 per night.

San Jose is an expensive place for traveller if you don't have a job. It is not the right city for budget traveller, but it could be paradise for rich people. Stop having daydream, and finding a job is the best way to stay in San Jose.
Chose this motel because it was located right downtown and within walking distance from the SJSU university stadium, One minute walk to the SOFA district, right next-door to a local café for your morning coffee, and less than a mile walk to San Pedro Square Market. Exceptionally clean updated rooms. Comfortable beds, free covered parking, and it was quiet. Wasn’t expecting much from a motel. Hands-down the best motel I’ve ever stayed in and I definitely will be returning when I visit San Jose. .
This Quality Inn was one of the better ones I've stayed at - Both the public space and our room were clean and welcoming, with everything in good working order. The bed was comfortable too. The staff on duty were super friendly as well. We only stayed for a night and had to leave super early the next morning so we didn't get to check out the breakfast. The location was excellent with a short drive to downtown San Jose and Milpitas.
After escaping a hotel downtown, Wingate and it's satff were a welcome blessing. Though it was further from my destination (San Jose State), it was in a great location for amenities/leisure. It was clean and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and secure even with homeless nearby. Parking lot was clean and open.
It was a very nice hotel, with friendly staff. The hotel was easy to get to, and very convenient for all of downtown San Jose. There are lots of great attractions and restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly, and helpful as far as directions and ideas for where to go. Parking is moderately priced and readily available.
The own is extremely kind and nice. I have bwwn sensing my merchandise packagaes to hotels but they always either lost it or taking so much time to find. But here, not only the owner communicates and sending me a confirmation that my packages have arrived, he also keep them safe for me
Mary Ann was extremely helpful. We came to the hotel after a terrible experience with accommodations downtown. Feeling pretty out of sorts Mary Ann really made our experience here positive and enjoyable. Looking forward to returning next time we’re in San Jose.
Very nice safe hotel. Nice shuttle service to airport. Fitness center was awesome. Nice pool to sit around but a little chilly the day we were there. Room was nice and clean and big. Would stay at any Sonesta hotel!
Excellent value for this very central location in San Jose. Room was clean with ample space and comfortable beds. We parked the car at the hotel and walked to SJSU campus as well as downtown restaurants.
The location is great. Near airport, freeway and in safe neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Willow Glen. Clean, modern and spacious home. Easy to communicate with property manager.
I was on my way to San Jose, from Peorta Veijo, Costa Rica, booked the hotel in San Jose, on arrival I found out Booking.com had me booked in San Jose California?? to much confusion...
Very comfy stay in a really fun area. Tons of shopping / food places within walking distance + public transit into downtown.
Staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful too!
Very new hotel and excellent room and facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great, not too far from downtown. Highly recommended for a couple stay.
