Raleigh was great there were ten of us total, in the Marriott, we got around town fairly easy, beautiful city, Mariott was centrally located.
Parking was not easy anywhere as it was N C State graduation, but at the hotel, it is misrepresented, we were charged $15 per day in advance and you had to pay every time you left the garage or you could not get out, I ended up paying another 46.00. The restaurants we visited were upscale and beautiful, food was great!! Breakfast at the Hotel every morning was very nice and plentiful, and a great staff. I used Booking dot com. for my reservations and have yet to get a printed-out billing, had to pay upfront in advance, but the rest of our group booked right online with the Marriot and was able to get a copy of their billing.
I don't like that part, I should have received a detailed billing.

I was only in town for a couple days for a sporting event.
I was only in town for a couple days for a sporting event. But I did get to check out downtown and eat at several good restaurants. The best was 42nd Street Oyster House. I also stopped at Ancillary Fermentation Brewery, which was unique.
slightly off the beaten track of downtown Raleigh this hotel is a hidden gem and only a 16 min walk to the Convention Center - with a nightly shifting program of local talent from stretch and pose bingo to independent musicians, a cozy lounge and quiet rooms this was the perfect get away for work - firm mattress - double light shutting pull down blinds - attentive housekeeping and front of desk staff - rush to book - I would return!
The room was spacious and clean and had a little porch! Pool area was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. Kim and Tyler at the front desk were all-stars. We stayed at this hotel on and off for over a month while waiting for our house to be ready. It was definitely home away from home. Fantastic location also. Easy access to downtown, NC State, the NC Museum of Art (which is awesome). Highly recommended.
I came to Raleigh to move my daughter to NC State University and found this location nearby the place she is renting a student apartment. This was just the perfect place, lovely tucked in the beautiful forest with all facilities nearby, easy parking and easy access - the place was sparkling clean, convenient, comfortable and just perfect for the purpose I had in mind.
What a beautiful place to stay, in an ideal situation a short walk from downtown Raleigh. The owner John is great, full of information about the area and ideas for places to visit and eat. We enjoyed our breakfast at Boulted Bread, as recommended by John. The place itself has everything that you could possibly want...and more! Excellent.
The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They allowed us to check into the room at 9 AM, almost half a day before the check-in time. Thank you! The room had everything you might need for a more extended stay, though we only spent one night in Raleigh. The laundry room was very convenient, as well as close proximity to the Crabtree Mall.
The staff was very professional and friendly. The whole entire hotel was very clean. The housekeeping service was excellent also. There Breakfast everyday was excellent. Parking was very good also. If u are ever in the Raleigh, NC area please choose this hotel for your stay. Will be going back.
SD 5 stars I give it.
The hotel is located in downtown Raleigh close to many businesses and restaurants, entertainment, etc…
The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Mine had a walk-in shower, which I had requested. The bed was among the most comfortable I have seen in recent years.
The location is brilliant, right by the bars and restaurants, but was told to be aware of noise. I had a room that literally looked out onto the Raleigh Beer Garden and it was fine, no need for ear plugs or anything.
One of the best parts of this hotel was the location. It is nearby and convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, shops, walking trails, and downtown attractions. Overall, a really great place to stay!
We stayed in a family suite with 4 kids (ages2-9) and 3 adults , there was more than enough room for all of. With indoor pool and breakfast included this was the perfect hotel for a quick family trip
Great reception staff, convenient location, parking and comfortable rooms, we booked the hotel again for a later date during our trip because we enjoyed our stay so much.
Loved the location and was an easy walk to downtown. There were a few food options around if needed but an easy walk to more.
It was a quiet hotel which was nice.
This hotel by far, is the best one I have stayed in while living in Raleigh, NC. The cleanliness, size and modern updates are outstanding. The food is good also.
