Breakfast was the only problem with this faculty. Every other thing is exceptional.
The staff members at the front desk were friendly but won’t go an extra mile. I had some problems wt my flight and got into town after midnight. Couldn’t get a taxi out of the airport, called a couple of times but they won’t help

I arrived with confirmation from Priceline but there was no room reserved for me, and I would be charged more to start over.

Room was disgusting, I had to quickly pick up and leave bc my kids couldn’t stop coughing and complaining their eyes were burning due to the extremely dirty rug and too much chlorine in the pool. Air conditioner was disgusting 🤮. Toilet smelled so bad. Overall my kids ended being sick for 24 hrs after that. Then front desk didn’t care to refund or even have empathy for my children. The manager was supposed to reach out to me and that didn’t happen either. Lost out on my 110 dollars and they didn’t even want to check me in after they had already billed me without my authorization. Thanks to booking representative , hotel had to honor my stay since they had charged my card without authorization.

Harlingen is fine but the Quality Inn was disgusting.
Harlingen is fine but the Quality Inn was disgusting. From entry to room bad odor stench of mold. I want a full refund. Management would not give refund and we did not stay at this facility. None working phone in room, lose outlets for device charging which is dangerous. We did not stay in room also due to a dead bug under the foot of the sheets. I was totally disgusted. I have pictures.

I like Harlingen.
I like Harlingen. I have been there several times and plan on returning. I do not get the opportunity to do much sightseeing but I have eaten at several different restaurants and have been pleased every time.

So many people have warned us saying it wasn’t safe to stay in Harlingen, but we’ve never had any problems staying there or going into Mexico at Progresso. We’ve found it to be a very enjoyable trip, which we’ve experienced several times this year. We have been to dentists all over the world (we have traveled a lot), and our very favorite is in Progresso, Mexico! His name is Dr. Alejandro Benitez, and he’s located just a block from the international bridge. It’s so convenient to stay in Harlingen when we need dental work!

I liked that HEB and Walmart are not far apart.
I did not like that I was not able to find any employment in more than three weeks of applying to many open job postings. It should not take more than one week to get an interview and not more than two weeks to start work.
It almost seems as if the lobby was the only nice thing about the hotel. The stairs up to our room were breaking and hazardous. The people staying there had my entire family nervous and uncomfortable. I have three teenage daughters and strange men smoking and drinking came out and we’re just gocking at them while we were in the pool. We just left altogether and didn’t even bother staying the night.
Stayed in a 2 bed suite with a sofa bed, room was very spacious, there was a door that separated the 2 beds from the rest of the room. There were 2 TV in the room. The bed was very comfortable, room was very clean, ac was very cold and the shower pressure was amazing. Breakfast buffet was very good. Best stay ever.
The room was remodeled and modern. The redesigned shower and bathroom layout was much much better than the old style that most old hotels still use and all fixtures were clean, modern and comfy. The beds were comfy. There was a mini fridge.
