We had to cancel all our tours because my husband is having surgery next week & can't walk much. We loved the MET & enjoyed the play very much. Very friendly people. 3 times he had to have people help him as he could not get out of a chair twice & fell once. We ate at the Orchard which was very spicy, and the Shucking Shack. We love lobster rolls in New England so looked forward to then. These we chopped & seasoned without much lobster taste, but we enjoyed them.

We were at the same hotel several years ago and had a decent/good experience so we revisited. However...the bed was so awful that we abandoned our anniversary weekend plans to leave at 1:30 am and drive the 90 minutes back home in rain.
The staff was polite and generally helpful. They were very nearly full so I didn't push to get another room. My wife is wheelchair bound so it's no small effort for me to get everything picked up and resettled into another room - I was awake enough to simply drive home.
Our special request to have extra pillows if the bed was non-adjustable was missed and I was a little surprised that it wasn't easy for them to find 3 extra (thin) pillows. IF there's a next time, we're bringing all of the pillows we might need, with zero apologies for doing so.

I was there for a specific event.
I was there for a specific event. The friends I was visiting love Frederick and have no intention of ever leaving. That’s a good recommendation. Parking in the historic district was….interesting, but I managed. Same thing where I live, actually. Dinner for 11 people worked just fine at Il Porto. Good food, too! Will be there end of January for another event at the new Union Mills Public House. Looking forward to it.

We only stayed one night as we were just driving thru to our final destination. It's under construction so the pool was not open. Mini golf was but only one golf ball was found by a staff member. Construction began at 7AM so if you want to sleep beyond that...don't book it till after Sept. Hot food was bad...egg powder mix (not true eggs) rubbery pancakes, bad yogurt, milk brand was not good. (children said) The cost was very good at $79. for a double queen room. ($84. with tax). When we complained about the construction noise at 7:07, staff member stopped till 8AM.

Frederick is delightful.
Frederick is delightful.
This is a comment to a review about the curtains. You have to look for the sticks inside the sheer curtains to close the room darkening drapes which is also necessary for privacy if you are on the ground floor.

Fredrick's is SO cute.
Fredrick's is SO cute. Super colonial with wide, flower-covered streets, and an active night-life. Fredricks is a college-town and feels like it, but also has quiet areas. I ate at Brewers Alley and White Rabbit Gastropub, both were very good. It was also easy to get a hotel room there.
Great location, centralized but tucked away. Great views while outside if you look. Cheaper than most hotels in the immediate area and much more value. The indoor pool and layout of the hotel are fun for the family. Breakfast spread is always good. Location: right next to the mall and short driving/walking distance to mostly everything you could want + Target/Chic-fil-a, and Sheetz. This place is a hidden gem, rooms a tiny bit outdated, but clean and has plenty of character…
Nothing, it was dirty, the hotel was full of people from local shelters, police were there, smelled like smoke, back of hotel is all furniture, trucks, I heard the front desk lady tell the police that they wanted her to take even more people from the shelter...I called and complained but they couldn't guarantee me a refund, the hotel had to agree to it, which is absurd.
The hotel is very nice, clean & comfortable- area felt safe and was easy to get to/close to our desired location. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was hot and great! Rooms are large, pool was clean and a nice addition for the kids especially. We had an early event and were glad the breakfast started at 6am so we could grab something before we had to leave.
Property was located in a great Spot! Close to food places and no traffic in or around the area which is great! Hotel and rooms super clean, staff super friendly at both check in and check out! Overall one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Pet friendly as well! Very nice for those who travel with pets.
The room was comfortable and quiet. Checking in and out went without a hitch. The desk agents were pleasant. Parking was convenient to my room. Additionally, the hotel was next door to a Tesla Supercharging facility, which made starting my trip home very easy.
This place was in the perfect location for visiting downtown frederick. Everything was clean and the free breakfast did include hot foods like eggs and sausage.
