rooms were a little different just the whole set up
Scenic View corner Cafe was way too expensive! Only place we found for breakfast before my son's graduation and for biscuit and gravy that tasted like oil (my son said) and 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage patties, 2 toast and 1 can soda was $38..... This food was horrible for this price! The construction work on the highways and traffic, was the first time in 10 years since I've been up there and they were doing the same crap then, and I would not go back unless I absolutely have to!

Location was easy.
Location was easy. Spent 4.5 hours booking hotel and paying more than other hotel was and red roofs was extremely terrible conditions compared to cheaper hotel that was canceled prior, which was exceptionally frustrating! Also, 1 and only amenity requested, breakfast was not offered, wasn't even able to make a cup of coffee!

I wrote my review and sent you pictures of my room and the fluid on the chair. And you intentionally left that out of my review. You are deceiving your clients and basically putting them in danger. I wonder did someone report that same room to you before and you choose not to let people know how unsafe that nasty place is

For a city of this size the entertainment was very disappointing. There are one or two bars in the downtown area but overall its not a nice place to walk around after dark. Not much of interest to do and see apart from the Civil Rights route and related buildings which are by far the highlights of the city. If you are interested in sport, the wonderful Rickwood Field baseball stadium (the oldest standing ballpark in U.S.) is a real gem, just a few miles out of town.

I'm biased because I lived here for college, but there are local attractions live Vulcan the Iron Man are worth visiting over a few days. Five Points South is probably the hub of nightlife. UAB football isn't as big as Alabama or Auburn, but it's the south and well college football.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Good morning. During the week between February 4th and February 9th, 2024, I stayed at the Best Western Plus Birmingham Inn & Suites, for 5 nights in Birmingham. The room charges were paid in cash at the time of check-in, and I have noticed that my credit card is being charged for the amount that was paid in cash at the hotel, totaling $606.90. Could you please investigate the reason for this charge on my credit card?
Sincerely,
Marcelo
Location.
Friendly staff.
Clean and comfortable.
Free coffee/water/snacks
Beautiful deco.
Nice drawings.
214$ for Birmingham maybe a bit too high on a regular Saturday (no special event or a long weekend). But surrounding hotels of similar nature were 60$ more expensive.
New hotel. Had a friendly/family vibe due to that.
It is best to say that there is NOTHING we did not like. This place what exceptional. The location, the cleanliness, the decor, the accomodations, and most of all the phenomenal customer service was beyond expectation! The price was unbeatable for what you get! We will most certainly be staying here on our next trip to Birmingham!
3 free drinks from the bar per adult during the free dinner was awesome. We got margaritas and bloody mary’s and they were excellent. The free breakfast was delicious also. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Pool was nice. We especially liked how the pool is indoor and outdoor. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at.
we actually never saw the inside the area so quite unsafe appearing we didn’t even stop our vehicle to look at the house. the neighborhood was scary. we had a large group staying around Birmingham and all said the area was not safe appearing. we ended up booking a hotel a little south in a different town
I didn’t have breakfast but it looked really good. Staff were very nice and helpful when asking for information. The room was clean and there was everything you needed in the bath and it was large and loved it. The beds were comfortable and unlike most hotels the thermostat worked!
The room was clean and as advertised. The beds weren’t that comfortable but for the price you pay it’s an excellent choice for a hotel. I felt like I was in a safe area and the distance from the hotel to downtown Birmingham was actually decent.
This is a very nice hotel in the Homewood area which has restaurants and bars nearby. It also has a nice restaurant. The situation of the hotel is perfect for visiting downtown Birmingham away from all the crowds and traffic. Highly recommend.
location for Mountain Brook was excellent.
staff friendly and helpfull.
price was high but Alabama were playing that weekend so prices were high.
hotel was a bit worn in places but no doubt will be sorted in due time.
Thanks Hampton MB
Property looks new on the inside - very clean lobby and rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was very courteous and professional. I felt like they cared about my comfort. I felt safe in the hotel and my room
The hotel was very nice and clean. Employees were very kind. The bathroom was really nice and updated. The location was perfect for easy in and out access and several great restaurants and activities to do.
the artwork, spa and restaurant and it’s staff, the hotel itself was very beautiful. The experience was very epic. The host at the front desk wasn’t the best on details about the hotel.
I loved everything from the atmosphere once entering the building, the decor in the lobby area, the bar & grill that I knew nothing about, and the breakfast was pretty good as well.
Beautiful old building in a great location. Walk to Paramount for a great dinner in a sports bar. The breakfast was the best free breakfast we had on the trip.
