It was not easy to get around Izmir as there were not signs in English. And there were not booklets in English for tourists to be well oriented in the city.
We enjoyed the boat trip and walked along the seaside.

So many things to see on day trips from the area: Ephesus, Pamukkale and Hieropolis, Cesme, etc. What's left of old part of town is worth a visit as are the remains of the ancient Greco-Roman town (though a lot is currently closed off). Much of the city by the water is 'new' because of the destruction of the 1922 fire, which is sad. But a great experience overall (even the taxi drivers are nice and honest, and the weather was much better than in Istanbul). Definitely want to go back.

Konak area is good for tourist and close to Clock Tower and Kemeralti carsi. Kardiyaka is very good are to see , you can go eith tram or ferry. Also very interesting part is Dario Moreno street where you have very nice bars and nightlife. At the end you can rich with elevator to the top restaurant with magnificent view of the city.
Superb hotel with excellent service ! Very customer oriented and dedicated concierge team - every wish was fulfilled. The housekeeping team was very flexible and nicely taking care of our executive suite and our executive room. The staff at the breakfast and in the executive lounge was very polite and the food quality was really excellent. The location of the hotel including the park around was beautiful and really in the heart of Izmir.
We loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were very spacious, tidy and had all facilities (AC, balcony, kettle, etc). The breakfast was very nice and rich. The location of the hotel was very good, near Izmir attraction park. Amazing staff, especially Mr.Mustapha the best of all. He was very helpful and nice to have around. My mom and I really enjoyed talking and chatting with him. He is very outgoing and welcoming.
The guy at the Reception (unfortunately I don´t know his name) was very helpful and knows a lot about the city and transportation
Best breakfast in Turkey, we were really surprised by the variety and quality. Amazing selection of olives and cheeses, they even have a beehive with honey
The hotel has a prime location near the Basane metro/rail station and also a short walk to the bazaar in Izmir
The hotel is well situated if you enjoy walking along the bay. Plenty of restaurants in the district. The staff is helpful though only limited English but enough staff that are fluent in English to make it pleasant. The restaurant is very pleasant. The breakfast area has breath taking views of the Izmir Bay and is very spacious and pleasant tried in late summer and winter.
Hotel is located within the periphery of Izmir's center and the room was quite spacious and clean. Breakfast was quite good The staffs went above and beyond to extend great hospitality and a wonderful service. Special thanks to Mr Burak at the reception and Ms. Hale at the restaurant for their care which made our stay quite special.
Just what you need for a night at the airport! If you don't have anything to do with Izmir and got to transit somewhere else, this is the place to be. The hotel is literally inside the airport. Great for transit flights or rental car pickup itineraries. Very clean rooms, spacious bathroom, and very peaceful.
Very friendly people, cute small hotel in a very authentic neighborhood with great food and drink options around. Easy to walk to Izmir center. A bit adventurous but if that's what you're looking for (and you have a small budget) this hotel is perfect. Especially the night receptionist is a very cool dude.
We like the location & area. We always come to Izmir for shopping in the old bazar and visiting some close friends we have in Izmir for more than 20 years.
Emen’s Hotel is a pretty new hotel where we stayed the second - and for sure not the last - time.
Clean hotel, cozy rooms and very comfortable beds.
The hotel was centrally located in Izmir, within walking distance of the mall and Konak Promenade. The continental breakfast buffet in the Pub was good. (No juice or tea/coffee, except Turkish tea). There is a lift to rooms. The room was standard size, with a street view. Laundry service was good.
This is a fantastic hotel. Tugged just slightly away from the hotspots of Izmir and a bit of a street jugglery to get to by car (all safe but this is bazaar and old town). Once you get to it, you get the most amazing stay (booked Suite room) and a decent breakfast.
The hotel is located in the heart of Izmir, in a very nice area and very close to the coastal promenade. The stuff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious and the room was spotless. The design of the room was also very modern.
We have been made to feel welcome. We are located next to a park and a short 15min walk to the beach. I am very pleased with the value for money of this hotel. I will certainly stay here again on my next trip to izmir great staff friendly and clean
Nice hotel, well located, near to the train station. The staff was very friendly and helping.
Even if the building is not very recent and new, the room was clean.
Will recommend it for depending one or two nights in Izmir.
House keeping Staff M. Ali, Front House staff Mr. Ramazan and Mrs. Melten..please accept my apology if any mistake in spelling..they are bring 5 star services in this hotel..you MUST appreciate their efforts.
It was exactly what we needed....a budget hotel just to sleep properly after tiring and hectic trips around Izmir. Mostofa and the team were super helpful and accommodating.
Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the old town in Izmir. Perfectly managed, nice and perfumed rooms, a little strange area , but very calm indeed . Really nice
The staff is so accommodating and welcoming. I traveled to other cities in Turkey while staying at this hotel and the cleaning staff took care of my plants too!
Everything was great. Breakfasts, personnel, location, service-orientation and etc. are superb. I will definitely choose this hotel if I visit Izmir again.
