I missed my flight thanks to the horrendous airport traffic and its terrible design! To top it off, there was only one access point for returning the rental car. Now, I'm stuck shelling out an extra 1000 SAR for a new ticket. This is absolutely ridiculous!

Old town was brilliant. Could wander round it for ages.
Old town was brilliant. Could wander round it for ages. Lots of it is being renovated, so going to be even better in future
corniche was lovely to walk along. Beaches were not accessible along there though. Perhaps to do with Ramadan?
Red Sea Mall is probably very nice if you like shopping - not really my thing so didnt stay too long!
We told about other beaches where you could go snorkelling. But had limited time on our visit to do this. Having seen sting ray, turtle and tons of fish when walking along the Corniche I wish we had had time to do it

Need to understand that Yeddah is a big city and everything...
Need to understand that Yeddah is a big city and everything is far away from everything. The old town of Yeddah is a must see. We enjoy the walk first in the morning alone because was Friday and nobody was in there and everything was closed but we can stop at the fantastic houses to see them and take pictures. We ate in a traditional fish restaurant was perfect and then evening and night time the old city was alive plenty of people shopping and walking.
The market is a big market with 100 of little chops away, every street with a particular item so every shop on the street is selling only the particular item: one place for clothes, an other shops with perfumes, food, sandals...etc.
The museum is interesting but far from the old town.
The Corniche with the see, harbour and the Mosque floating upon the sea is 30 Km by car from the Old City, is growing every day with a new restaurant, buildings, also you can see the families enjoying the day or the evening.

Traffic is busier than you think, weather is hotter than you imagine, streets are cleaner than you expect, prices are more expensive than you plan, driving is harsher than what you were told, transportation is weak for such a wonderful city. Private cars can give you cheaper ride than taxi. Uber is damn expensive, basic hair cut can be around $10 USD.
The staff was very helpful, English speaking. Very good and fast communication with staff, they could recommend the places to visit. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kichenette well equipped, bathroom clean and functional.
The huge advantage is a great swimming pool at the roof. It is clean, well organized. Available to ALL guests!
The location is perfect - close to restaurants, shops, good transportation, short distance to interesting places.
During our 3 weeks in Saudi Arabia it was the most friendly hotel!
wasn’t expecting to have such a wonderful experience at the ibis given my past experiences with ibis in other countries. However, we were pleasantly surprised! Extremely clean rooms, all amenities can be found in your rooms/bathrooms, etc. Spacious, friendly staff and reasonable prices. would definitely come back again if I ever return to Jeddah. I’ve stayed at some 5 star hotels in Saudi that doesn’t have the same quality and level of service that this Ibis does. Would recommend
Property was near to the Jeddah Airport Terminal 1 which was very convenient for visitors. Premise was clean, staff were so helpful and breakfast was delicious. We were also allowed to check-in without pay as my wife reached hotel few hours earlier than me and our check-out was extended for 2-3 hours without extra pay. I must recommend this hotel and gives 5 out of 5 star for taking care of their guest so well.
This an excellent 5 star hotel which offered an excellent facility in all aspects from the best breakfast and most comfortable bed on our trip to Saudi Arabia. The location right on the Jeddah cornishe is a lovely spot and the morning walks opposite the hotel observing the red sea tropical fish and evening strolls were memorable. This hotel deserves a far higher rating than many on booking.com.
This hotel is inside of InterContinental Hotel. The same reception, service and equipment. The service is definitely 5 stars service. We lived in InterContinental hotel the first day, Al Corniche room is almost same room as InterContinental, I think the only different is InterContinental is in the main building and Al Corniche is in the side building.
The hotel is well located quite close of the beach for a nice night walk, there were ample of free parking slots. The interiors were ok. The neighborhood was nice and calm.
Ashjan Aljadaani at the reception office was welcoming and quite supportive.
The overall experience was very good, and makes the hotel on my top list when visiting Jeddah
The rooms can use some updates, 50% of the elevators are broken and the pricing for lunch and dinner is just out of control for poor quality. We probably also got the shittiest view on the city with a huge balcony we couldn't use just outside our window, see pictures. This is not what you'd expect form a 5 star hotel.
Location near airport and that it has 24 hours front desk so they can accommodate our very late check in at 3am in the morning. The AC is strong, it's nice given the hot weather outside. Room is spacious. We asked for late check out and they let us stay until 2pm. Thanks so much!
Ruve hotel is like a 5 star hotel. Everything there was amazing and it's definitely the most value for money choice ever. Very clean, polite stuff, cozy beds and strong AC. I'm delighted with this place that deserves 10/10
This hotel is amazing, it has good equipments like a 5 star hotel. The staff are very friendly……the location is superb very close to everywhere. I will definitely visit again.
