Costas is an excellent host. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The house has a rustic charm with a million dollar view. The rent was reasonable considering the house was in need of updating.

The location was pretty nice as it had a view of the Alopronoia beach. Very close to the port and in the middle between the two main (and only) agglomerations in the island. In a good price relating to the prices in Cyclades.

Kastellos Apartments Sikinos, hotel in Síkinos

Within 50 metres from the beach of Allopronoia, Kastellos Apartments Sikinos offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi. Free transfer to and from the port is provided.

We stayed in these apartments for the first time since they were renovated from the previous ones of many years ago.The room was of a good size with kitchen facilities which we used for all of our self catering. The apartment itself was fairly new and the location itself was very quiet, just like the island itself. And we were situated near the only grocery shop in the port area. The owner,Yiannis helped carry our bags up, and down the stairs and ensured that the room was cleaned each day, and the rubbish bag was changed also. And we had a lovely view of the port, and surrounding area.

COSY STUDIO IN ALLOPRONOIA SIKINOS, hotel in Síkinos

Situated in Alopronia, 700 metres from Alopronia Beach and 2.2 km from Dialiskari Beach, COSY STUDIO IN ALLOPRONOIA SIKINOS features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi.

There are no words to describe this place! Amazing regarding everything. It is much better than it looks at the photos, particularly the yard and the view towards the harbour of Alopronoia. The place was spotlessly clean, the kitchen equipped with everything one might need to cook, comfortable bed etc. Last, but not least, Mrs Maria is the best host you could ever wish for. Very hospitable, caring and discreet at the same time. Apart from the welcome sweets, she would have a "surprise" every day for me (figs, home made sweets, ice cream). One of the best stays I've ever had, I will be definitely coming back!

Lucas B Panorama, hotel in Síkinos

Traditionally built in Cycladic style, Lucas B is 500 metres from Alopronia Beach. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi and views over the Aegean Sea.

Very lovely friendly family who were very helpful. Good location and collected from the ferry. Room ok but "kitchen" area not easy to use as so tiny. Bathroom not very well planned as water goes everywhere and shower area not good. Generally an OK stay though due to v nice lady and good outside area.

Camares, hotel in Síkinos

The traditionally built Kamares is situated 400 metres from the beach of Alopronoia in Sikinos. It features Cycladic-style rooms with a balcony or patio overlooking the Aegean Sea.

Spotless, comfortable, peaceful, a real get away from it all location. Enjoyable breakfast, we can’t fault our short stay at Cameras. The only noise we heard was an occasional cockerel and donkey!

Sikinos. One of greeks unknown, unspoilt islands. Traditional, small andbeautiful. Great for a couple of days tranquility in the middle of the other hectic islands you may be visiting. Its easy to get to Sikinos as ferries go a few times a week from the other Cycladic islands. Cheap ferries too. Bus service and bookable taxi if needed Lovely beach near the port. The sunsets and scenary are to die for.

There is limited public transport, and a couple of taxis But Sikinos is a island not tainted by mass tourism. What you see is what you get.Just don't expect more than a simple lifestyle.Just like the local inhabitants, and you won't go far wrong! One of our top 5 greek islands.
