We arrived in the evening having crossed from St Malo by ferry and found that we had been upgraded to a suite as the rest of the hotel had been taken over by 108 police officers who were preparing to take part in the D Day celebrations. The suite was very spacious and comfortable and would normally have cost considerably more than we were charged. Breakfast in the morning was good and we had an adequate meal in the bar the night before - adequate meaning it was fine but had just had a week of superb French cooking, so it paled by comparison!

Touches for the kids, like the cookie, robe and slippers, chocolate dip treat, drink carton and activity pack is just lovely. Milk dispenser in the corridor is great when travelling with children. First time we booked it was the cheapest last minute option, now we won’t stay anywhere else.
