My trip was for work, so not much time for sightseeing.
My trip was for work, so not much time for sightseeing. I noted that the racecourse is just a couple of minutes from where I was staying, and the Lakeside shopping centres a few minutes more in the opposite direction. I would have liked to visit the air museum but didnt have time

Great night life. Amazingly friendly atmosphere, The Ibetha of South Yorkshire.
A nice Market, plenty of shops. Good Taxi Service. Excellent Rail Connection. Love it!!
The Red Lion (Weatherspoons) in the Market Square is excellent !!
Nice informative staff.Early check in request was obliged.Lovely clean and comfortable bedroom.Hotel beautifully decorated throughout.Classy Art Deco restaurant and hotel.Breakfast was very good with ample choice of cereals etc and choice of hot food which was well cooked and tasty.Towels and bedding were of excellent quality. A tea/coffee making tray was very welcome with branded goods.
Nice Hotel reception area. Bit disappointed that we couldn't get a sandwich at 2pm in the afternoon and had to have crisps and chocolate. Great room on 6th floor overlooking the racecourse. I have an electric car and while it is disappointing that a hotel of this size does not provide charging facilities there are some available within 10m minutes walk at Asda.
The staff at this hotel were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
We liked the open plan layout of the reception/bar area which has a view across Doncaster racecourse.
The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked.
Our room had plenty of space and, despite overlooking the main road outside, was nice and quiet.
We had a deluxe room which was a large room with a very comfy bed and a very nice bathroom with an amazing shower. The hotel was in a good location with plenty of parking and was only a short drive into Doncaster. The breakfast was really nice and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
Great room massive with sofa amazing queen size bed and huge bathroom with an amazing large rainfall walk in shower we stayed in some amazing hotels in past but this one at the Doncaster mount pleasant tops them all. Very swish and beautiful gardens and seating areas. ❤️
The hotel was nice and fresh. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We opted for a park view and could see the bush dogs. We added breakfast and park tickets on our booking. Breakfast was served in the Wilds Bistro right next door and was lovely, lots of choices.
Comfortable bed, room very well equipped. Breakfast was great and included in the price. Staff in breakfast area doing a great job keeping the food topped up and tables cleared efficiently. In our opinion, Holiday Inn Express are the best budget hotels.
Breakfast is superb! Lots of choice.Dog friendly (charges apply) nr Sprotbrough for river, pub and dog walks. Just off A1 so really easy to get to, avoiding Doncaster town centre.
Lady on reception was pleasant. Hotel was cheap. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Room had TV and tea making facilities. Doncaster itself is well worth a visit.
ideal location for our visit. while the hotel is under renovation the staff did a marvellous job of ensuring the patrons received good service and attention.
fabulous Art Deco hotel-the bar, restaurant are glorious! Friendly staff, very comfortable room . Excellent location for Doncaster racecourse-5 minute walk.
