Beautiful hotel in a lovely piece of the Galician countryside. It’s a family business run by 3 generations of the family. Grandma is the chef and cooked the most wonderful food. The granddaughter and her mum run the hotel and are incredibly friendly and helpful. Wonderful stay for my wife and I walking the Camino Norte.

A very big THANK YOU to the lady on reception! We had to catch a bus to Santiago and she showed us exactly where the bus stop was and even rang the bus company to check the bus timetable. It made our journey less stressful - she was a credit to the hotel.

Easy check in. Clean. White linen, duvet and towel. New/modern decor. Well lit, bright, spacious room. Room had full length window and was on first floor. Shampoo and body gel pump pots & towels provided. Fantastic location -Just along from the Monestary entrance approx 100m. Camino Del Norte trail goes past front door. Supermarket and pharmacy just across the street. Has aircon. Thick black out drapes to make room dark for sleeping. Quiet night. Used correo luggage transfer to and from and this went well. Wifi worked well.
I loved the house. It was a 300 year old home which was restored perfectly. The details were exquisite. The breakfast was exceptional, down to the last detail. Never before have I been served butter made on site. The property manager Pablo, reached out multiple times via booking message to make sure I had everything I needed. I appreciated the manner in which he communicated. I highly recommend this property to Camino weary travelers. It’s a welcome respite to the challenge of the trail.
The setting of the hotel is perfect for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of work and a busy life. The staff were friendly and helpful and the overall image and installations well kept. The spa is a bit steep in price, but definitely worth a visit. And although previous comments hinted on a not so good breakfast, we found that there were enough choices for a good buffet. And the 'croquetas de jamón' that we had one evening with some cheese, olives and a glass of albariño wine, were delicious.
A very nice hotel, although a little bit secluded, surrounded by a beautiful park with access to a golf course. The facilities where top notch, including the spa, and the personnel was kind and helpful. The restaurant provides a lush gastronomic experience, but this is subjective, some have more expectations than others.
Quiet location, pleasant place for a drink and our evening meal was delicious. Unfortunately whilst the room was very clean & reasonably comfortable the hotel definitely has a problem with damp. It didn’t bother us and we enjoyed our stay but it is something they should tackle!
Very clean, modern and comfortable hotel. Nice park to walk around. Bed was very comfortable with a big room. Complementary bottle of water and coffee in the room. Spa was good though there was no sauna. Good and abundant breakfast.
