Breathtaking views of the Georgian Bay. The Grotto is a must; The cruise was cancelled because of inclement weather. Plan to revisit next year as I learned belatedly that the cruises tend to get canceled during the fall season.

The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful.
The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful.
The snorkelling was fantastic.
When you go to Flower Pot Island bring food, drinks and a bathing suit. The swimming is awesome!
The parking has to be booked in advance (which we did). You need to read the fine print though. You must be at the lot within the first two hours of your reservation or you forfeit your spot. If you need to cancel a reservation, it must be done two days in advance.

1. It is impossible to reach you by phone. I tried several times and left messages - no reply. The only people that answer are the ones attending the boat cruses. They transfer the phone to you without avail.
2. The building we stayed in made an annoying noise all night long. Was hard to sleep. We asked others and they experienced the same annoying noise,
3. The room had no AC. We kept the windows in the back and front open to get a draft. It finally cooled down at about 2AM.
4. You asked about breakfast in the survey we filled out. Were we entitled for that breakfast, and if where was it?

Small village on a lake. Not many shops and restaurants. Not much choice of food and if your hotel is not offering breakfast then you will need to find a suitable restaurant which opens in the morning becAuse not all places are open at 8am. Quiet and clean. Good for walks.

The panoramic scene of the sparkling blue waters stretching out into the horizon was simply breathtaking. The gentle waves crashing against the shore created a soothing symphony, inviting a sense of calm and tranquility.

Cute village. Wonderful place for divers.
Must go to flower pot island, the Groto and visit the lighthouse.
Beautiful clear blue waters. Lots of opportunities for hikes in the areas but must be prepared to wear proper shoes if going on the Bruce trail.
I don't have the words to summarize it. The property, the room, the view of the lake in front of the porches is absolutely stunning!
The hosts are pay attention to every detail, from breakfast to amenities, to make your stay the most enjoyable possible.
Also, I had the chance to meet Christopher in person and he was amazing and lovely, even gave me nice tips to explore the town of Tobermory i. The Fall season.
I will definitely return during Summer months.
We love to stay at family run motels and try to keep away from the “chains” whenever possible. The Grandview was a perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and within a short walk of all restaurants and shops. It was also close to the ferry terminal for our morning trip across the Georgian Bay. The walking pathway to town had benches along the way to rest, if necessary, and we watched a lovely sunset from one of them.
Great location - close to Tobermory city center and hiking trails while in a secluded natural space. Fire pit and view were awesome. We appreciated the availability of AC and WiFi. It’s pretty new, full kitchen. Bathroom was clean.
We had an issue with the toilet, but property manager was available during the night of the long weekend (Civic day). She resolved our problem in a timely and professional manner.
It was good for the price we (me and my two kids) just stayed in there for one night. No problems to checking or checkout (they leave a lockbox with the keys in and your just self checking by typing the code), the room was clean and comfortable, we got an upgrade for a front lake view, the hotel is still under renovations but it was not a problem for us. Overall a good experience.
Breakfast was not included but we just did not have it, used sandwiches for lunch in the nature, parks. Room was exceptionally clean, staff friendly and unbelievable fast. We asked for hear drier and additional coffee and it was delivered to the room in less than 2 minutes. I stayed in high class hotels but never witnessed such fast service
Reception was helpful. The room was well appointed with comfortable beds, spacious room and good facilities. It was good to have a microwave and refrigerator and a table to sit at for breakfast. Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, there are good facilities in the room to enable you to fix your own.
Great room, super comfy beds, friendly service. Location was 6 min walking distance from the city centre and right beside the main tour companies that take you to flower pot island. The price was great too. Would definitely stay next time I'm back in Tobermory!
Location of the cottage is very awesome. close to all attractions of Tobermory. The house was super clean and host is very active and response right away. Will definitely come again to this cottage. Will recommend to my friends and family
The location is good, close to Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula Provincial Park.
There's also a kitchenette with mugs and plates, toaster and kettle, etc. If the things were clean, that'd be convinient and useful.
Really good location, it is easy to find and free enough parking lots. People can walk to cruise and Tobermory town and near the lake, beautiful view. The room is good and clean. Staff is very friendly.
Enjoyed staying: location is great, not far from all the attractions in Tobermory and only 15 minutes ride from all the sights. Cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks for the hospitality.
Beautiful location & cottage, extremely hospitable staff, walkable distance from all the nearby restaurants, pubs and local attractions. Quite literally the best spot in tobermory!
