We were awed by the vast landscaped gardens, the several venues, areas for families as well as areas for adults. A really well thought out resort. The room was exceptional.

Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We especially liked the Italian pastry selection and the fresh fruit. The lobby bar was a great place to hang out in the evenings, Daniele was most kind and helpful with everything we needed or asked for. Valentina went to great lengths to meet our special requests and to make sure we have an unforgettable experience.

Have travelled extensively for both work and pleasure - this is the best hotel we have stayed in, anywhere in the world. The staff are absolutely exceptional- professional, consistent and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done to the highest standard. A special mention to Denise who was a very special host. The hotel itself is remarkable. Historic and painstakingly restored- the perfect balance between old and new. Some parts of the hotel feel like you are in a museum. The court yard next to reception is charming and a place we really enjoyed having an evening drink in after the stunning pool and before dinner. We also thought the food at Massimo Manttaro’s restaurant was the best we ate at in Sicily (far better than up the road at the Belmond). An exceptional stay in every respect, words don’t do it justice.

Hotel staff were outstanding, they made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to assist us, they even allowed us to stay after checkout to store luggage and continue to use the facilities. the pool, terrace and gardens were amazing and the views from the property were truly breath taking. Photos on here don’t do it justice. the hotel had a lovely charm about it, all so well maintained and beautifully presented. Great value for money.
