The location is perfect for local walks, from a short ride from Keswick even by bus. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The hotel restaurant is just a delight, the food is absolutely delicious and the breakfast is also top notch. The staff is very friendly and very good in making you feel welcomed and taken care off. I would definitely come back and would definitely recommend it.

Very nice place,very clean,everything u need are there,specialy the bathrooms are amazing with bery strong warm water ,very clean,the garden is very big and have little water lake to thriw stine,suitable for kids.We are very pleased.Highly recommened🥰

The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Breakfast at the Grasmere Brewery was lovely. I actually liked walking down the street from the cottage for breakfast. We loved Grasmere - the winding streets, the surrounding hills, the shops. I had chosen Grasmere as a place to stay because we wanted to spend a couple of days in the Lake District and I had read that it was one of the prettiest towns. It was exactly what we hoped for. Richard, the proprietor of Lake View Country House, was so nice and helpful in every way. He made us feel comfortable, welcome, and gave us a fantastic recommendation for a day hike near the house, and for restaurants.

Breakfast menu has lots of selection to choose and delicious. room and bathroom were clean.

Bénéficiant d'un bel emplacement au bord de la rivière, le Rydal Lodge Hotel propose un hébergement élégant dans le Lake District, à 2 miles du centre d'Ambleside. We had a lovely stay at Rydal lodge. It was the perfect little getaway! Mark and Helena went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, giving us advice on where to eat and walk. Our room was comfortable and cosy. The gardens and surrounding area was beautiful, with easy access to Rydal lake. Couldn't recommend enough!

L'Ees Wyke Country House est un élégant établissement géorgien situé dans le Lake District, à moins de 3 km de la ville de Hawkshead. We liked the location & the views. Breakfast was delicious & fresh. Employees were so kind, respectful & so helpful. We enjoyed the whole experience & we look forward to come back again to enjoy your coffee that we didn’t have enough time to drink it although it smelled so nice! ;)

Donnant sur le lac Windermere et offrant une vue imprenable, le Lindeth Fell Country House est situé à seulement 5 minutes du port ferry de Windermere. Un parking est disponible gratuitement. The staff and owners all consistently went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, as well as to help with directions and/or recommendations for walks and restaurants in the Lake District. The breakfast was delicious and healthy, with a variety of choices, and we received very pleasant service from all involved. The hotel building was quaint and beautifully appointed and the large garden was absolutely lovely. A bonus was meeting Alfie and Rosie, the adorable and affectionate resident Border Terriers!
