There is a real home from home feel about them, and they are incredibly equipped with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. We were met after our arrival by the owner ( I am so sorry, your name escapes me. Apologies) who gave us the run down on the chalet and some invaluable information about Mount Cook, where to park for the Hooker trail, and some very sound advice to get there early! It was great to return to the accommodation after a long day walking and to sit on the veranda with a cup of tea (or maybe a glass of wine!) And enjoy the peace and quiet. I'm also grateful for laundry facilities, which was a real bonus. Do not hesitate to book these chalets. You will not be disappointed.
