Yes it’s a winding drive up the mountain so you need a car but that is part of what makes it so spectacular. Amazing views from the home! Mountains and waterfalls! Warm and cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. Comfortable bed. Fully furnished living room was so cozy after a long day of exploring Nicely stocked large kitchen is perfect for preparing meals …And a wonderful jetted tub! Only 2 of us so we never even used the two bedrooms upstairs but this would be a wonderful place for families or friend get together. Also has a washer so it was great to clean everything after a weeks worth of hiking! The town is close by ( about 10 min drive) so everything is convenient. Would recommend that you book this beautiful home in a heartbeat!

Located in Briksdalsbre, Melkevoll Bretun Camping features accommodation with seating area. This holiday home provides air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. This was my favourite location during our 12 day tour of Norway! A fabulous site with absolutely STUNNING scenery all around. The "camp site" was spotless and well maintained, as was the very spacious cabin we rented. Actually, I could quite happily have moved into that cabin on a permanent basis! Falling asleep to the sound of a magnificent waterfall to one side, and a rushing bubbling stream to the other was simply magical. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and we were so sad to have to leave after 2 days to move on to the next leg of the journey! Sorry that I didn't take photos of the cabin (only a video) but it was exactly as per the pictures on the booking.com website.

Our son is a train freak, so with sight on the tracks out of the window it could not have been better! The house was very clean, very comfortable and nothing was missing! The owners thought really well about the needs of the guests. First time i found a holiday home so well equiped. The house has a really nice garden with a cherrytree and a neighbour with lovely goats. We really enjoyed our stay here as a family.

Flatheim is a charming farm stay located in Viksdalen Valley. It offers historic-style rooms with wooden interiors, free WiFi access and view of mountains, river or garden.. It was a surprising place. As a Heritage house, it mixes the old wooden houses style, with modern facilities as the bathroom. For the kids it was a really new and fun experience. The location if great, an "oasis" in the middle of the norwegian mountains. The owner was very helpful: as we got late for dinner or restaurants nearby, he explained where we could buy some goods, and let us use by our the kitchen and diningroom.

Flåm bažnyčia yra vos už 100 metrų.... The check-in process was easy, and we stayed 2 nights. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, and has 3 rooms, living room, kitchen (fully equipped), and a balcony with breathtaking views of the mountains, waterfall, and river below. You hear all night the sound of the river and sometimes the Flam Railway that passes in the back. The beds are very comfortable and relaxing. The living space is spacious and modern. We loved to cook breakfast and dinner together with the balcony door opened hearing the river and with fresh and cool air. The bathroom was spacious and had a washer. We washed some clothes and let them dry on the balcony. The Flam port and train station are a few minutes away.

Lovely place in a lovely location. Nice and clean. The apartment had everything we needed & the hosts were the nicest people. We really liked it here. Good location for hikes & a beach down the hill.
