The breakfast was great everyday and the pastries / bread / fruit / cooked food / juice / coffee were all delicious. After eating our breakfast overlooking the beautiful coast we usually enjoyed a quick dip in the pool or time on the beach before heading out on our adventures. We were offered cleaning services every day and all the staff were fantastic to deal with. They put up with our patchy french or could revert to english when we struggled. If we are lucky enough to go to Rodrigues again we will definitely be staying here.

Set in Rodrigues Island and only 13 km from Francois Leguat Reserve, Chez Tonio Magic Ocean View offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. I loved this property. The view was absolutely fantastic and a joy to wake up to every morning. The house was in a lovely secluded position on the hillside and so well equipped from a fridge freezer, great coffee machine, excellent Wifi and so much more. The owner was so responsive by text and the lovely Melissa was on hand if I needed anything. She also cooked me the best meal I had on the island. There was a great little shop down the road and excellent local restaurant with a bus stop at the end of the track to get into town or to the beach or It was a 15 minute if you fancied the walk to Mourouk beach. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. I cannot wait to go back and can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are wanting to experience a beautiful authentic island off the beaten track. This accommodation offers it all.
