We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

Well equipped cabin (you will need to bring the coffee - there is a filter machine). Great views - you can spend a quite and relaxing evening in the outside hot tub. Keys waited for us in a locked safebox at the door - we never met the hosts (no need) - we were free to arrive at our own time schedule

The hot tub was lovey to relax in on our arrival. The owners had it full for us. We would have loved to stay longer.

Hítarneskot Holiday Home is a holiday home with a barbecue, set in Hítarneskot. Guests benefit from terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Free WiFi is offered. Lovely cottage set next to the sea. The house had everything we needed. Warm and comfortable. You can sit by the window and just watch the horses. We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

Everything! Very big house. You can buy food and cook there. There are a big kitchen , living room and bathroom with a floor heater. The TV has netflix which is a good point to put your account and watch films. We love so much this stay.
