Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Icelandic Lake House is situated in Akranes. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

The place is amazing. Idyllic for a couple, a tip would be to buy food beforehand and use the grill provided at the place. The surroundings are lovely and the place is super cosy. Hot tub was great too. Also, very clean place and well equipped! Great to relax and unwind!

Situated in Snæfellsbær in the West Iceland region, Nátthagi Luxury Cottage features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features mountain and lake views. The cottage was lovely, it had everything we needed, was super comfy and had great views.

Located in Kaldrananes, Hvammur 3 Hrakhólar with private hot tub offers an open-air bath, a garden and a barbecue. The property has river and garden views. We loved this beautifully spacious, well maintained cottage. The kitchen was great. The hot tub was lovey to relax in on our arrival. The owners had it full for us. We would have loved to stay longer.

A very clean, cosy cottage in beautiful landscape and peaceful, quiet setting. Kitchen well equipped, cosy beds and great bathroom. Everything one needs is there. It’s close to the popular sights of Reykholt, Hraunfossar and Húsafell. Wonderful owners.

Hítarneskot Holiday Home on loma-asunto, joka sijaitsee Hítarneskotissa. Majoituspaikassa on terassi ja grilli. Paikan päällä on myös ilmainen yksityinen pysäköintimahdollisuus. Lovely cottage set next to the sea. The house had everything we needed. Warm and comfortable. You can sit by the window and just watch the horses. We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

Set in Bær in the West Iceland region, Jadar Farm offers accommodation with free private parking. This villa provides a garden. Everything! Very big house. You can buy food and cook there. There are a big kitchen , living room and bathroom with a floor heater. The TV has netflix which is a good point to put your account and watch films. We love so much this stay.
