The view of the mountains is fantastic, and it’s nice seeing all the sheep in the fields and the cows in the barn. Having a full kitchen and laundry was a big plus as well.

Sodulsholt Cottages offer self-catering cottages in Sodulsholt and views of the surrounding landscape. Free WiFi is available. Perfect little cottage. Literally nothing bad to be mentioned about it. Confy, well maintaned, warm and well insulated despite the heavy winds we had during our stay. A lot of large windows (we saw a small stretch of the aurora right front the bed) and the kitchen has everything one would need for cooking a nice dinner. We even stopped near their farm and saw the beautiful horses they have, there was one nice guy who let us in for a couple of mins. Definitely recommend. It is not cheap but well… what’s cheap in Iceland? The price is fair anyway.

This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!

Set in Hellnar in the West Iceland region, Hellnar Ocean View Villa offers accommodation with free private parking. This property is excellent! pictures you see doesn’t really show real picture. 1st of all house is huge!! 2 families or big group will feel very comfortable! view from the kitchen and majority of rooms are spectacular! Kitchen have everything you need! There is storage with extra needed staff like to wash your clothes. There is dishwasher! Even ice was in the fridge! Jacuzzi was great - at some point felt quite warm. There are 2 bathrooms, one even have sauna 😁😁😁 Around the area there are places where you can have short walk - to rest after day of heavy hiking. we would love to come back and stay for much longer time! Outside real nature - not only ocean, but birds flying and singing all day!

Providing barbecue facilities, Tanginn provides accommodation in Stykkishólmur. Featuring a minimarket, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Location was lovely. Quiet charming town with some excellent restaurants.
