There is an unmatched serenity to the place which is not only embodied in the lounges with fireplaces, comfy chairs, and homey touches, but the location is perfect. The crisp mountain air, the stillness, the fresh spring INSIDE the hotel! All make this a unique, fantastic, wonderful place to stay. Other reviews have mentioned a hard bed. While this is the case, it's not uncomfortable, and the duvet and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud

Lahinch is 41 km from Emlagh, Self Catering Glamping Pods, while Doonbeg is 10 km away. The nearest airport is Shannon Airport, 72 km from the accommodation. The glamping pods wer beautiful. We wanted somewhere quiet out of the cities and towns for a night for a night of rest, peace and quiet. The pods had everything we needed. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were exceptional and everything was well maintained. Our host was so welcoming, although we did not need to, we felt we could go to them if we had any issues. Kilkee was only a short drive away to go and get some supplies for dinner.

We spent two nights here and it was like having a home away from home. The kitchen was great, the living room large and comfortable, the bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. It's only a couple minutes walk to the grocery store, or there is a Centra (for drinks, etc) just a couple of doors down. We loved everything about this place and would totally stay here again.
