Set within 50 metres of Cocles Beach and 1.3 km of Chiquita Beach, Casa Modi offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Puerto Viejo. We got the unit on the second floor. It had 2 bedrooms. Super comfy 200cm width bed. Fully equipped kitchen though the kitchen is outdoors, might not fit everyone. For us it was great. Barely any mosquitoes even outdoors. Nice place to buy fruits 5 minutes walk and a big organic supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The beach is very close to the flat, big waves but we built sand castles with our baby so it was fine. It was very relaxing stay in a peaceful environment. They even have a laundry machine and were very responsive to all our requests. Felt very secluded. 10 minutes walk from the Jaguar Rescue Center.

Boasting garden views, Villas Piña - Adults only provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 700 metres from Negra Beach. The place was magnificent and the owner make it more special, I truly recommend the place, they have a really good breakfast and for me this property was one of my favorites in all Costa Rica. The workers were amazing people, they show us how they make this place stays perfect!

Located in Puerto Viejo and only 1.4 km from Cocles Beach, Lomas del Caribe provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The villas are very well equipped to cook anything you like! You can tell the person in charge cares about maintenance and does a good job at it. The pool was cleaned everyday, I asked for more sheets and towels and they were provided right away. Communication was excellent and easy via Whatsapp. Highly recommended for a group of four or family with kids. Very private, you can hear the monkeys howling and all kinds of birds chirping. Close to all main beaches (Cocles, Puerto Viejo and my fave, Punta Uva).

The garden is beautiful, the pool too and the people are very friendly! The accommodation is very clean. The beach with a lot of bars and restaurants is very close and can be reached by a 2 minutes walk.

Miguel and Marta were lovely hosts. Friendly & very helpful. The whole property is absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of. House was very clean, and the whole property had a safe, family friendly atmosphere, and their dog is so so sweet. We fell asleep to the sounds of nature, completely surrounded by jungle noises. Would absolutely recommend. Good value for the price. Location is a bit of a walk from town, but our hosts gave us bikes to use free of charge! Amazing

Caribbean Secret is located 450 metres from Cahuita Beach and 1.7 km from Playa Negra Beach. It features free WiFi throughout and a garden. The houses will provide you with a patio and a seating area.... it was a beautiful location and very close to the entrance of the national park. we also enjoyed seeing the monkeys and chickens around the area and made friends with a cat!

We really enjoyed our stay, the place is beautiful with nature all around and can view or hear animals close which is very cool and relaxing. The house was very clean and has all you need to cook and have a good stay. Wifi worked with no issues and the pool was great. Rick was a great host and would always respond to any concerns we had no complaint at all. Will definitely come back
