Situated within 6 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 5.1 km of Kalambu Hot Springs, Suwa Villa Arenal offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Fortuna. Staying at Suwa Villa Arenal was a highlight of our trip and our favorite accommodation in Costa Rica. Hands down, it had some of the most thoughtful design and architecture we came across, reflecting the owner's expertise as an architect. You can tell it was built with care. For the price, it’s really good value. It felt like we got a lot for what we paid. The owners were friendly and down-to-earth, and the staff had the same genuine vibe. Everyone was keen to help without it ever feeling overbearing. Communication-wise, they were on the ball. Quick to respond and clear in their answers. Plus, they had some handy tips on activities and pointed us to some neat local spots to eat and shop. All in all, Suwa Villa Arenal felt like a great find. It’s a place that combines smart design with a real personal touch. Would definitely recommend to stay there when visiting La Fortuna.

Boasting garden views, Jordi´s House features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 7 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. Host provided very good info and pictures how to find a house. Air conditioning in both bedrooms was great.

Set within 22 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 700 metres of Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park in Fortuna, Wellness Park CR features accommodation with seating area. It was very cosy and a nice retreat. You wake up in a park with hummingbirds in front of your door and a great view of the volcano. Then you can hike the Park trails (ca.3h) and experience a hidden jungle, waterfall with a lot of fauna. Also there is a cool viewpoint where you can get a photo of the volcano and the jungle.

We loved everything about this place : the location, the room is clean, very nice and the bathroom also ! The staff is very nice, the breakfast is really good also ! We recommend very much ! These comfortable villas feature a common use outdoor pool, free parking and Wi-Fi access, plus they include the continental breakfast for its guests. Customer service was great. Perhaps better than any other hotel I've been to. Food was great, with plenty of options to choose from. They can even adjust the breakfast so you don't have the same every day. Room was confy, beds and pilllows were great too. Room had a kitchen but did not use it. This hotel gives you opportunity to get some real rest, it is not noisy and the pool is nice. It has a yoga area and some couches to read. The internet was being replaced by fiber optic while I was there. Traditional coaxial allowed to work and watch videos during the day, lagging at night (fiber should fix that). I would definitely come back.

Toucan home, a property with a garden, is set in Fortuna, 26 km from Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, 27 km from Sky Adventures Arenal, as well as 30 km from Venado Caves. This place is amazing, cozy and safe, it has a beautiful view of the volcano, I felt very comfortable during my stay, the hosts are very friendly and helped us with everything, we were also able to see several toucans, it was great

Very comfortable accommodation, has all things you need for a night or 2 stay. Super helpful host , answering any requests within minutes . View from the balcony is fantastic. Very secluded but not difficult to reach driving

A recently renovated country house situated in Poás, Casa Monte Armadillo features a garden. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Definitely all. Before arrive you recieve all necessary details to easily find the place. The spend the night in the house like that is extraordinery experiance. Land lady Cristina is absolutely awesome person who shows you their farm next morning. To Volcano Poas it takes 45min, if you have 4x4 than 20min.
