Staying at Suwa Villa Arenal was a highlight of our trip and our favorite accommodation in Costa Rica. Hands down, it had some of the most thoughtful design and architecture we came across, reflecting the owner's expertise as an architect. You can tell it was built with care. For the price, it’s really good value. It felt like we got a lot for what we paid. The owners were friendly and down-to-earth, and the staff had the same genuine vibe. Everyone was keen to help without it ever feeling overbearing. Communication-wise, they were on the ball. Quick to respond and clear in their answers. Plus, they had some handy tips on activities and pointed us to some neat local spots to eat and shop. All in all, Suwa Villa Arenal felt like a great find. It’s a place that combines smart design with a real personal touch. Would definitely recommend to stay there when visiting La Fortuna.

Jordi´s House, que tiene vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y hervidor a unos 7 km de Aguas termales de Kalambu. Host provided very good info and pictures how to find a house. Air conditioning in both bedrooms was great.

Wellness Park CR dispone de vistas a la montaña, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Se encuentra en Fortuna, a 22 km de Catarata La Fortuna. La ubicación es bastante alejada del centro pero el lugar es tan increíble que lo vale. Me gustó todo, cada espacio de ese enorme parque natural, pudimos ver ranas, colibrís, monos, coatíes, pájaros hermosos y una naturaleza imponente y muy bella. Lo mejor de mi estadía en costa rica, volvería mil veces, super recomendado para quienes disfrutan de la naturaleza y la tranquilidad. Nos atendieron divinamente.

La Fortuna Waterfall Bungalows está a 2,8 km de Catarata La Fortuna y ofrece jardín y terraza, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. También hay nevera y cafetera. Sweet little hut, very clean and very comfy bed :)

The hosts (owners) were so helpful, kind, and available for us. We were able to have dinner late in the evening even though the kitchen was already closing. The place itself is lovely, in the middle of nature, yet cozy and comfortable. We had breakfast every morning by the pool and hearing the birds sing. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Toucan home, que tiene vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y patio a unos 11 km de Aguas termales de Kalambu. This place is amazing, cozy and safe, it has a beautiful view of the volcano, I felt very comfortable during my stay, the hosts are very friendly and helped us with everything, we were also able to see several toucans, it was great

La Casa del Rualdo está a 17 km de Parque Nacional Volcán Poás y ofrece alojamiento conjardín, terraza y servicio de habitaciones. Very comfortable accommodation, has all things you need for a night or 2 stay. Super helpful host , answering any requests within minutes . View from the balcony is fantastic. Very secluded but not difficult to reach driving

Luxury Villas Arenal, que tiene vistas al jardín, dispone de alojamiento con jardín y balcón a unos 6,4 km de Aguas termales de Kalambu. It was clean- pictures do not do it justice. Close to town. Excellent communication with manager. Has all the amenities you need.

Casa Monte Armadillo está en Poás, a 7,5 km de Parque Nacional Volcán Poás, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, wifi gratis, servicio de habitaciones y recepción 24 horas. Definitely all. Before arrive you recieve all necessary details to easily find the place. The spend the night in the house like that is extraordinery experiance. Land lady Cristina is absolutely awesome person who shows you their farm next morning. To Volcano Poas it takes 45min, if you have 4x4 than 20min.
