Overlooking Oxtongue Lake, this cottage resort is 10 km from Algonquin Park. It offers on-site access to a sandy beach and a fully equipped kitchen in each cosy cottage. The cottages are adorable. I was in a one bedroom. It has a fully functioning kitchen (bring all your groceries including butter, oil. And coffee grounds/pods. And a flat pan. Surprisingly no pan in the kitchen). It had really good heating. No AC but we didn't need it. No bugs inside. The veiw from the windows was a slice of heaven. BRILLIANT for kids. Two playgrounds, a library with toys, a lake opposite. Next to Algonquin so loads of fun trekking. We went when it was cold but they have paddle boats, and canoes and life vests. Honestly I am blown away by how entertained my 2 year old was in this resort.

The property was very well presented Rooms neatly made up - towels, tooth brushes and tooth paste the hosts had gone to great details to ensure we felt comfortable. Easy off st parking just outside Toronto was a easy drive into see attractions like CN tower, Ripley’s aquarium. Had we not booked a following night in the city we would have stayed here another evening. Kitchen was great, bathrooms hot and clean showers. Wi-fi worked well My boys loved catching up on pink panther on the TV. Kids channels. Rooms very specious (main room with cot) Really impressed with the whole stay.

Well equipped, modern and comfy appartment with 2 bathrooms and plenty of space. Communication was smooth with the landlords. The kids really enjoyed the pool as it is big enough for them to swim!
