Such a beautiful property, with so much attention to small details that make staying so nice. From the luggage wagons to get to your cabin, to the light switch curtain that prevents the lights from coming on at night if someone goes in the kitchen area. The king size bed was so comfortable, and the hot tub was fantastic.

My daughters and I loved this quiet getaway. The location was not too far from home, but gave us a feeling of escape that we really needed. These accomodations were perfect for reconnecting and rest. We especially loved the scriptures that were posted in each room. They seemed to speak to our hearts which added to the needs of our spirit.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Book it! The views and sounds of the falls below are amazing. The house was clean, ac and heat worked wonderfully and so did the hot tub. Location is great too!

Our room was upstairs and had everything we needed. We were only booked for 1 night but decided to stay 3 & just do a day trip to San Antonio instead. We were so pleased we decided that as we loved our time in Gruene & at the cottages. We walked down to the centre which is an easy 10 min walk. Once you cross the road there's a short path then a walkway the rest of the way.
