We loved everything about Chata Gabika. Our children stayed for hours in the wonderful pool. The outdoor area is great with a wonderful view, opportunisters for cooking and sitting all evening. The hosts are so friendly, providing all the information we enedes about the area, trips in the nearby surrundings and visit to Kosice. One of our best holidays ever :)

- Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. - The location. It has its own exit from the ring road (!) but also has fair public transport options too (tram). Just ask the staff about the latter. It's just that Google Maps totally sucks at the Kosice tram timetable. Bolt taxi at $5 to the old town is also a nice-to-have. - The room. I booked a mobile home room and expected to have to use the shared bathroom and shower (which is perfectly OK) but found my room had a private one. - The vibe. You can camp there any way you like: a tent, an RV, a rented unit. - The critters. There were little paddocks with different small farm animals happily hopping about; rabbits, goats, sheep. The campers' kids were evidently enjoying them.
