The property was secure, clean, tidy, and the pool/ garden area was lovely. A short walk to a supermarket, and playa negra. Lots of space for parking if you are planning to rent a car for your trip! Hosts were super helpful with any requests and particularly with transport as we did not rent a vehicle of any sort during our stay.

The villas are very well equipped to cook anything you like! You can tell the person in charge cares about maintenance and does a good job at it. The pool was cleaned everyday, I asked for more sheets and towels and they were provided right away. Communication was excellent and easy via Whatsapp. Highly recommended for a group of four or family with kids. Very private, you can hear the monkeys howling and all kinds of birds chirping. Close to all main beaches (Cocles, Puerto Viejo and my fave, Punta Uva).

Ok, let me start with the fact I almost never share comments on booking.com. But for Los Delfinos Lodge I want to make an exception. Miguel is absolutely AMAZING. Oh and did I say that the property is as amazing as Miguel? The hospitality, the car drive in the night to the city Center, the stories about the environment, the bikes, the beds. Lovely to wake up with the sound of howler monkeys and then make our breakfast in our own kitchen. This is the message you wanted to read in the reviews: go to los delfinos lodge, you won’t regret it! 🙏 ❤️🍀

Good location, very clean and aesthetically pleasing, comfortable bed & great blackout curtains. Shower was fair pressure and the water was hot. Loved seeing the howler monkeys outside in the trees, the sloth down the road and the birds in the garden. The owner was very pleasant and proactive. Aircon was great and WiFi was good. We enjoyed ourselves in spite of the comments below, thank you for hosting us.

The beds were surprisingly comfortable and I the soft sheets had a floral design. I had asked for an extra pillow because, typically, pillows are too flat. Turns out the extra provided, wasn’t needed because each one was a thick soft foam type. There was an organic shaped wood table with 4 very comfortable chairs, on the lanai. The garden surrounding each area felt like lush jungle and the owner has a sweet dog and two kittens. I wish I could stay longer.

The porch overlooking the real jungle is fantastic. We could have stayed there all day. Perfect for relaxing and observing the animals. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook your meal.
