We have never ever seen such a beautiful house and so much perfection in an accommodation. The owner was amazing and the most loveliest person we ever met in our entire travel history. The house utilities were just beyond expectations. Nothing you could miss in the house, just like a second home. We were also showered with such lovely gifts by the owner, she is truly an exceptional person! View from the house is jaw dropping & the location is just perfect! Thank you very much! The amazing views of the mountains and nearby waterfalls from Chalet Protea were such a highlight. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming, and the place was perfect for our time in Wengen. It was very easy to feel at home and the chalet was well stocked with cooking utensils, oil/seasonings, etc. to allow for home-cooked meals as well. We were able to complete a load of laundry (with dryer) for 5 euros which was convenient too. We wished we could stay longer and we would love to come back, and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the Jungfrau region.
