Wow!!! What a place!!! Beautiful. The perfect/ idyllic place for a winter getaway! It's extremely relaxing and peaceful. The Burehüsli is in stunning location with breath taking views. Great base for travelling around. The house was spotless clean and welcoming. It had everything you need and more...! We had excellent night sleeps in super comfy beds. The hosts are so lovely,very accommodating, responsive and very,very helpful. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burehüsli in Axalp. It surpassed all our expectations!! It's truly hidden gem. We didn't want to leave and would love to come back one day. I would highly recommend this accommodation!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH 😃

A good budget place for 2-3 nights stay in the country side, a good base for exploring the mountains - about 45 min drive from Stechelberg and Grindenwald, 10min from Brienz. A restaurant on site with hearty Swiss food (rosti and desserts were delicious) at good prices where locals eat - it gets booked up so best to book on the weekend (you can have the food also in the apartment if it's full). The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We didn't try breakfast as the dinner plates were huge. The heaters were on when we arrived. A nice Jura coffee machine prefilled with beans.

You wake up to the stunning Brienz Lake right outside your window, and the room is cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was super handy, and the self-serve breakfast was not only delicious but also had some organic fruits grown by the hosts. What's even better is the location – a charming little train passes by the front of the house, and within a short walk, you're at the lakeside, the pier, and the steam train station.

All the possible amenities are available, very modern kitchen with everything you would need in a vacation. Hosts were super accommodating, communication was effortless and responses were very quick, we asked for earlier check in on a short notice and the request was granted.
