I love Bloubergstrand.
I love Bloubergstrand. It has a wonderful promenade and I always feel safe as there are always people out running and walking. The view of the mountain is breathtaking, and there are plenty of restaurants.

Bloubergstrand is beautiful, but the accomodation and reception awful. My partner has hip/back problems. I have compromised lungs after covid. Endless steep stairs to climb! Room was cramped, smelly. Seems like a little storage room. No view. Door lock not secure. Serious maintenance needed. At pool ashtray was full of smelly cigarette butts and wet tissue. We left same day, will never go back to Oceansnest. Driving from George, to come to this, stress of finding another accommodation, was very disappointing. Now for refund??? We had the most amazing two weeks staying here. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful with tips to do in the area. We will definitely come back here next time we visit Cape Town. Huge recommendation!

The photos on the booking.com are old and do not reflect accurately what the apartments look like now. It is deceiving. It is disappointing to not experience what you saw on websites etc. The rooms are not well maintained. Things are wearing away but are in OK condition. But the service was good. It was perfect. I found Linda to be extremely personal and kind, but I treat people personal and kind so maybe this reflects on who is speaking to her based on previous posts about her. I found Dyson, the main man around the hotel to fix things and such very sweet and the cleaning ladies same. I had a top notch experience.

Opening the sliding doors, the loud thundering sound of the waves crashing on the beach fills the entire apartment. There's a large balcony in the back of the building as well which the two rooms share. Amazing views, great location. Clean and modern. Very helpful and friendly staff. Near restaurants and bars and a few meters away from the beach. The apartment is fully equiped with a washer and fast wifi.
