St Pete is awesome. Downtown has so many restaurants and unique shops to visit. And walking the St. Pete Pier was delightful. So much to do and everything is so close. Went to a concert at Mahaffey Theatre.

I have a business in St. Petersburg and love the atmosphere and people and their effort to make it into a destination city as well as their old beachfronts. Living part-time in central Florida the traffic in St. Pete is stupendous. Coming from New York City, there is "no traffic" here at all. We live in Tampa, and came across the bay for a Staycation. While in St. Pete we visited the Enchant Christmas event being held at Tropicana Field. Parking is sometimes scarce and expensive in St Pete, so the location of the Hollander Hotel and the free parking it offers were quite welcome. It is an easy four-block walk down to the restaurants, shops, and museums along Beach Drive and they even offer a shuttle if you need it. St Pete also offers a trolley that loops around downtown and takes you down to the Dali Museum / Mahaffey Theater area. This was our second stay at the hotel, and we will stay again in the future.... the 2024 Major League Baseball season will be here soon, and the Hollander Hotel makes a great base of operations for your visit.
