The coolest hotel I've ever stayed in! We were in the wild west room and every detail was amazing. We got a breakfast delivery basket which was a nice surprise. The staff were so friednly on arrival and really made the experience.

Your location was perfect for my purposes. Being right next to the freeway made it easy to get to and from the conference I was attending.

We like the USB plug ins around the lamps. We like the shower (not a tub/shower) and the shampoo bottles on the wall. Nice to find a blow dryer we forgot ours. We liked the huge king sized bed and how clean the room was. The room was quiet, couldn't here the chatter around us. And we like the breakfast bar. This was our third time staying there and we will again.

Staff was nice, called us to let us know that hotel under construction. Did not check us in, let us look first. It was not going to be a comfortable or restful stay with the construction ongoing in our assigned building. We passed.

We had stayed overnight in Pocatello a number of times, just not in the Fall or at the Fairfield Inn. We now plan to make a trip just to this city next year to take in the various attractions there and its vicinity.

Pocatello is a beautiful high desert city in Southern Idaho.
Pocatello is a beautiful high desert city in Southern Idaho.. it was July so it was obviously super hot.. I was there for a Drs appointment so I didn't do much sight seeing.. I do know there's a lot of open in public drug use down by the University. Personally seen it with my own eyes at the Days Inn across the street.. that part of town is gross. What's really sad.. I didn't see one police officer for the 2 days I stayed down there

I hit a deer an hour outside of Pocatello, totalling my vehicle. I was travelling by myself with my two dogs 14 hours away from home. Everyone I dealt with - state police officers, dispatcher, hotel employees/management, autobody company - were all so kind and compassionate, and I felt that they all had my well being at the forefront. This makes me feel the the community of Pocatello is certainly great.

Stay somewhere else. The RedLion Pocatello is horrible.
Stay somewhere else. The RedLion Pocatello is horrible. It was very dirty with mildew in tub area, only 2 lights out of 4 worked in Bathroom. Shower head was barely hanging on two the wall. Paint following off ceiling in bathroom and room. Sheet was not put on bed correctly. Just throwing over the sheet over mattress is not correct. We should have left but we just traveled many miles in car and needed to rest. Our error. We got around 2 hrs, sleep and then left the dirty place.

Nice and quiet area.
Nice and quiet area. The hotel is close to other hotels as well as plenty of dining options and even grocery stores. We dined at Texas Roadhouse and MacKenzies. The nearby event center was really nice!
Easy access from the Interstate through Pocatello. Keypad code was easy to use. Spotlessly clean upon our arrival in a nice neighborhood. Well-stocked with towels and amenities.
Comfy bed with plenty of pillows and blankets. Good heating system.
Super clean well-appointed bathroom with good lighting.
This was an Airbnb-type accommodation so we made our own breakfasts and one dinner in the most excellent, well-equipped kitchen.
Internet connection worked quite well, so no issue there.
Easy 20-30 minute walk to Idaho State University.
The man at the desk was there most of the time; he was probably the manager. He was definitely on top of everything from checking people in to making sure the breakfast was well stocked. He even made sure he found their ironing board and iron and delivered it to our room minutes after I asked for it. I was very impressed with his attentiveness to customers. The hotel is older but clean and well maintained. We also loved the waffles!
Filthy, there was a broken vase in the corner when we arrived and they never picked it up!
The floors in the hotel were filthy! Carpet on the steps was old and worn and dangerous.
We kept begging for clean towels as they never cleaned the room, got them the 3rd day!
The restaurant was ALWAYS closed, but the bar was open!
Red Lion WAS a good name, but won’t ever stay in another one!
The room design was just great, we were in the Western room, and really everything is designed like that - saloon doors, a shower within a watering can etc. Really cool. The room was cooled down when we arrived, unlike the hotel before - and this was very appreciated given the 105 degrees outside. We liked it!
The room was very nice and the breakfast was tasty. The hotel was handy to a good restaurant. It was pretty easy to find. I even got to use the pool in the morning. We prefer to stay at La Quinta if we can and were happy this one had a room.
This hotel looks brand new, and the suite we had was spacious and up to date. I have never seen so many USB charging ports in any hotel room I've ever stayed in! The pool/hot tub area was great, and everything was clean and spacious.

this place is amazing. It’s a renovated old church I believe. the rooms we’ve stayed in have been expertly done, hand painted murals and real wood. fantastic stay. I will stay there every time I travel to Pocatello
nothing well the receptionist wouldn't give me a receipt said it had to come from booking.com i need this receipt. was not happy with the rooms would have gone to La Quinta if i could have gotten a refund.
Nice indoor pool in center of hotel. Breakfast was included, washer/dryer access on the property for a fee. Staff was very helpful when the room we were assigned smelled like smoke.
The front desk staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was very clean and our son loved the pool. We were only there for a short time but it was a very pleasant stay.
The general cleanliness of everything. The amenities, pool, spa, laundry available were very nice and clean also. The view of Pocatello was a nice surprise also.
