Modern and beautiful interior design. Very consistent from the lobby though the guestrooms. Very thoughtfully redeveloped. Very close the Yale and the New Haven downtown.

This apartment has a great location close to campus. It's spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. Everything is clearly labeled so it's easy to navigate. The beds were relatively comfortable. Overall a great find as it's perfect for larger groups. Having a copy of Scrabble to play was a plus!

There are great museums, restaurants and other sites to see in New Haven, Modern and Zuppardi's are my favorite pizza places. I would avoid the "famous" spots in Wooster area -- the founders are gone and the kids don't know how to make pizza. However, I would not stay in the city. Ugly traffic and construction and you would have to park in a off street facility. Better to stay outside in the many suburbs and also less expensive. Pictures below are from Cafe Fiore in Branford -- great food.

Can't say enough wonderful things about New Haven.
Can't say enough wonderful things about New Haven. A lovely town to enjoy for a long weekend. Simply walking the campus at Yale can soothe your soul. Great eateries and shops, fun historical landmarks, special cultural treats from museums to architecture.
You MUST go to Louis Lunch, home of the first hamburger. Milkcraft makes icecream in front of your eyes with liquid nitrogen. Several bookstore/coffeeshop options.
The Group W Bench will appeal to your inner hippie. Plenty of museums to enjoy.
Don't forget to ask for a room with a view of campus when you stay at The Study.

We came to area for daughter college graduation, had her car parked in parking lot under a street light and it was stolen. Apparently the hotel camera didn’t cover the parking lot !!!!! We understand it isn’t the hotel’s fault someone would steal a car from their parking lot, but security is not a top priority at this location!!

- no restaurant (although on booking.com lunch and dinner option was offered). Check carefully your invoice - room, parking and breakfast! Check your credit card regarding holds! if not you might end up paying a lot more that initially booked via booking.com

Trip from Hell:
Trip from Hell:
My flight was cancelled (United Airline) very poor service and worst customer service I have ever encountered. had to finally book another airline. So, I send a message to inform the hotel that I would only be arriving a day late. When I finally arrived the reception clerk informed me that my booking had been cancelled and he couldn't find it in the system. he told me to step aside very rudely. His senior finally came to help him. And miraculously they both found my book. I then presented my credit card which was declined. And he informed me loudly that it had been declined, I gave him another card it was declined again. My daughter (leaves in the USA) gave him her card, gain it was declined. So, I called my bank in South Africa. Who quickly informed me to tell the clerk to stop tapping Rand 35 000. Due to fraud, you can only tap Rands only 250. Note not fraud in South Africa but global!!! The clerk informed me that all the cards he is used to in the USA accepted Tapping!!! i told him the world has changed not everyone/VISITERS come from America. The world is now global!!!!
The valet service was very accommodating and after a l-o-n-g car trip by our family with 3 cars caravanning, they made unloading gear, a young baby and securing our bicycles easy. The front desk -- especially Jose Dias -- was super helpful in addressing a noise issue above our 5th floor room. The room size, bath toiletries, bed comfort, etc were all great and reminded us of some European hotels we enjoy. We are looking forward to returning to The Blake in New Haven -- and trying our sister properties as travel opens back up.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. Layout and decor of the room was nicely appointed and comfortable. Lobby is beautiful to just hang out in and relax. Location was very central in New Haven and close to many restaurants, Yale, and local shops. Garage parking was across the street from the hotel, but very secure and easily accessed via a 2nd floor bridge between the hotel and garage. Cost was $22+tax per day, but you have in-out access as much as you want within the 24-hour period, using hotel key card.
Apartment is the ground floor of a large two-family house on a quiet street in New Haven. Location was very good, with a short drive (or walk) into town. There was plenty of room, the place was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook your own meals. The homeowner provided parking permits, so we could park for free right in front of the house.
I loved the fact that this hotel was so close to Yale University. Being my first time in New Haven Yale University was on my story do list and the convenience of having a hotel located in the heart of the University was nice. There are plenty of restaurants and shops located within walking distance of this hotel.
yes, because I was white i was tx different , due to them being other. I paid for them to be on grounds part of their fraud game, the ones there who use me in fraud, who had help from hotel!!! I had a great time, couldn't go to dinner, couldn't go out, and couldn't even enjoy my room!! lucky me!!
Beautiful apartment. Lovely big windows, spacious and great air conditioning. would highly recommend if you are visiting New Haven.
We felt 2 was enough in the area, although this would depend on the reason for your visit. Otherwise, great apartment at a good price for what you get too!
The hotel itself is stunning and that made my stay an experience rather than simply a one night stopover.
The staff were exceptionally engaging and genuine - it didn’t feel as though they were going through the motions. We had some lovely conversations and interactions.
We had a fantastic stay at The Graduate New Haven. The room was impeccably clean, quiet, and imbued with charm and Yale history. The lobby/library was cleverly appointed with books, art and memorabilia, and the cafe served excellent coffee in the AM.
The owner was delightful and hospitable and accommodated holding my bag, both before and after checkout. The house was a beautiful historic home in a historic New Haven neighborhood. My room had a skeleton key! So cool.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel room was incredibly spacious, modern and impeccable. Great hotel gym and the location is walking distance to everything. Highly recommend for anyone visiting New Haven.
Rooms out of date and run down. Access to checkin via car almost impossible. Ubers lined up and not moving for 20 minutes. Had to park in no parkong zone to check in and I know New Haven tickets regularly.
The location is good and the staff were friendly enough. The area is a bit rough but we felt safe enough and it is easy to get to downtown New Haven, the universities, etc.
The Study is my favorite hotel in New Haven. The beds are cozy and delightful, and the rooms are clean and crisp. The staff is great. I'd live there is I could.
Modern hotel that is walking distance from Yale campus with a small gym. Room is clean and beds are comfortable but decor feels a bit clinical and lack warmth.
Suites are designed for long stay - with full kitchen, lounge area and plenty of storage. Well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast included in room rate.
Very spacious, very near Yale University campus, the hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful, and provided a well-stocked kitchen & bathroom!
