The night staff, security, and front desk young lady with locs and small gold hoops were super nice and helpful!
It’s right next to the highway which didn’t bother us.
The breakfast looked fine, you have the basics which include eggs, sausage, some cereal, a few bagels and some juice. However we did decide to eat at a near by diner instead.
Located between Stratford and New Haven, SpringHill Suites Milford offers self-catering suites with a flat-screen cable TV. Facilities include a gym.

The place smelled like smoke. The room was dirty and there was gunk and buildup of who knows what in the bathroom. The hotel was extremely loud all night long.

Quiet town depending the part lots of great shopping the usual big boxes and a splash of mid scale to upscale. Beautiful ShopRite on Boston road. Commendable considering the stores in and around NYC.
Ate too much
Mac’n out !! Go with your family and eat up . All fresh made cheese sauces with traditional cheddar to even Gruyère! Eat up!
There’s lots of small businesses that really need to support so show them some love.
I don’t have a car but Uber and Lyft are available.
I’d avoid any of the dirty cheap hotels . Demand they upgrade and get the smoke and bugs out !

This was a quick, pet friendly get away that was affordable for us. We stayed 3 nights which was perfect as there isn't a lot to do in the area. We weren't impressed with beaches and most in the area are private. The public beaches charge $40 a day for nonresident parking. State park beaches are $20. None of the beaches are that great. Sand is coarser and full of shells. However, Silver Sands is quite scenic with mile of boardwalk. Luckily the Oyster Festival was in town and that gave us something to do.

The Milford is in a location right off exit 35 of 95 interstate. This property can be a gem if the owners properly maintain it. Upon walking in there is a plexiglass reception area that look warn.and you can't see the staff. The staff was very friendly and accommodated towels for the pool. I asked questions on what the times checkout, and what the operating time for the pool was. The elevator was dirty. Got to the room and the shower had mold in the bathroom, vanity were the sink is was damaged, refrigerator need to be de-iced but worked, microwave too small and outdated, dead roach in dresser draw. Beds comfortable, however sheets had lint balls all over them. The walls had pencil marks on them, and a painting was missing off the wall brackets left beside.
I reported this to front desk immediately. She came and clead the mold proto.and asked if I wanted another room but there wer no other double beds available. The ac was kicking anartica so I give them a bow on that. Overall, if the owner put. Effort into properly maintaining this Motel 6 it would be a 💎

I wasn't there to visit milford.
I wasn't there to visit milford. I was there to visit my siblings but milford seems to be a nice town. It has a lot of eating places and shopping places. If you like malls then the post road mall is for you. They have many grocery stores to choose from. The towns are close to each other so if you don't find what your looking for in one town you can go to the next. Lasses has a great roast beef sandwich that we always make sure to get while there.

Milford is great, always something going on.
Milford is great, always something going on. Lots of places to shop and eat. Hoppin night life if that's your thing. Lots of beaches to choose from. Dave & Busters at the mall was a great time.
This is my first negative review in years on Booking.com and I've booked hundreds of hotels through the site, so it is quite telling. Even the cheap price won't help our terrible experience. If I were to name one positive, the free breakfast was nice to have but it was very limited.
Kathy was very accommodating and the cottage is right on the beach. There is nothing better than waking up to the surf and sunrise. The house is on a dead-end road, so there is virtually no traffic and it is nice and quiet. The furnishings are old , but fit the cottage perfectly.
It is close to the highway, which is why we choose it. That and the free parking where the only things that met expectations in comparison to the price and what we have experienced at other hotels in at same price level.
I chose the hotel for the price and the location (it's very convenient to I-95). Check-in was simpler than I remembered (there is a key deposit), and nearly all the rooms are on the ground level, with convenient parking
I loved the pool. There is a heat wave in this area. picture our disappointment when pool was shut down Sunday morning. They said it was closed until checkout but then reopened at 10:30. Disappointment turned to relief.
There was not one thing we liked about it. The outside view is deceiving and the star rating is false!. No exaggeration. The worst motel/hotel we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in our fair share.
Standard business/work Hotel/Motel just off the highway for an overnight with standard self serve breakfast in the morning available from early to late. Room clean and tidy as expected.
The hotel was very good location, the reception staff were excellent Rogel went out oh did way to help, I would highly recommend and definitely stay here again
