We just stopped for the night.
We just stopped for the night. There was plenty of fast food and restaurants nearby. A nearby Walmart. A nice looking town, but we were on the road, so didn't look around much.
Clean, quiet, cute, efficient hotel.
Nice staff. Convenient parking.

Kearney is a moderately-sized community, offering the visitor goods, services, and a unique history. A full range of restaurants serve locals and travelers in a highway-adjacent community.
Among other draws to Kearney is the seasonal migration of Lesser Sand Hill Cranes, in their hundreds of thousands, in fields and river settings, just minutes from the city.

The first time I visited Kearney was a few years ago during the sandhill crane migration. It was awesome! And I think that is the biggest draw for the town. The other one is the Great Platte River Road Archway. I'm glad I visited this museum/monument this time around (October 2021) because it's fantastic! I learned quite a number of historical facts (like the experiences of those people who migrated west during the Great Migration, the origin of the term "Fortyniners", and about the historic Lincoln Highway). And the exhibits are phenomenal in my opinion. I mean, what a way to impress visitors going up via the escalator going "through" that movie frame. It was definitely eye-catching. Overall, the museum/monument was truly worth the money!

Didn't travel about Kearney much.
Didn't travel about Kearney much. Some sight seeing and supper. Researching Kearney it is a wealth of history and things to do. If one had the tme to stay and explore. This stay was to rest after day one of a three day l road trip.for a funeral
Nice hotel and huge room. Checks off the needs I have of being safe, budget friendly and clean. Micro and fridge. Wifi was quick. AC worked great, and it was super hot. They had breakfast items, but I didn't pay much attention to what they had beside yogurt and muffins and fruit.. Close to places in town. Walking distance even.
Had a huge bus of people arrive before I did, but they were quick about getting me checked in. Plenty of parking.
Breakfast was made fresh to order
Room was in the extended stay portion of the hotel- very ran down AC and door lock was busted. TV remote only worked to turn on TV. The main part of the hotel looked two classes above wear I stayed. I had my rooms booked over 4 months and they had vacancies in the main part of the hotel just not for the price I had booked my room for
If you are making a visit to Kearney, this location cannot be beat. There are great restaurants within walking distance -- we had one of the best burgers we have ever at Angus Burgers and Shakes -- and the hotel is easy to get to and the staff accommodating and helpful when the airline had to deliver my luggage separately.
The lending book library. The rooms were clean and updated. The handicapped shower was perfect to give our dog a bath. Plenty of grass around the hotel. Staff was friendly, efficient, and intelligent. Proximity to highway and local coffee shops since we couldn't go to the breakfast area with our dog.
Great hotel. Stayed here last week and had such a nice experience we stayed again on our way home from Colorado.
Comfortable, clean, affordable and convenient. Nice people, nice room, many good restaurants close by.
Would stay again if in the area.
The only redeeming factor was the excellent local coffee shop and fresh bagels across the street at Barista’s Daily Grind. Save yourself the nightmare and book a more expensive hotel and get a coffee and bagel. Life is better that way.
I got the jacuzzi suite cause I wanted to relax in tub. Loved it. Room was cheap compared to other motels/hotels. Also had breakfast. They let me have a late check out as well. Staff was very nice & helpful.
