Crescent City is a fantastic spot with stunning views, from its rugged beaches and iconic lighthouse to the friendly locals. The town's museums offer a peek into its history, including a dramatic tale of survival from a tsunami. There are plenty of great places to eat, and the nearby redwood forests are simply breathtaking—a must-see for anyone visiting. In short, Crescent City is a perfect blend of nature, history, and hospitality. Recommended: 3 days stay

    The staff is always nice.

The staff is always nice. I'm always occomodated with a ground floor room. Even the non-ocean rooms have a little ocean view - but only when the RV place is empty. It's easy to pack and unpack - just pull up in front of your room. Don't miss walking to the lighthouse. Check the tides because it's only accessible during a low tide.

We specifically chose Crescent City as a launch for visiting the Redwood Groves nearby. That was an awe inspiring highlight that I highly recommend. The natural beauty of the ocean beaches and harbour area are stunning. The city itself was sadly very depressed and seems desperately in need of an infusion of business upgrades. Many businesses are clised and shuttered. We did enjoy an excellent seafood meal at a place on the harbour.

Close to beach room was smoked in. Very blah room

Close to beach room was smoked in. Very blah room If the only requirement for a suite are 2 rooms, frig, microwave with one bathroom, no outside vanity and sinks separate from toilet, then it was ok. Was not expecting just bare essentials and little decor and crowded living area.

Crescent city is a great place to stay, it is close to amazing sites like the Redwood National Park and the coastline is amazing. A fabulous spot take in beautiful sunsets! The visitors Centre was helpful. The Thai restaurant near us was amazing!

The hotel was well light up, lots of lights very bright made us feel safe. We could see the waterfront from our room on the second floor. It was super close to the restaurants, Jack in the box just down the street stayed open 24 hours. It was super close to the lighthouse and beach at the waterfront park you could actually walk there or drive in like 5 minutes. The parking area was all in the front of the hotel and the hotel wrapped around it so make your car seem protected. The price was the best in town

Great price and very clean. For only being 2 stars this was one of the best places we stayed during our trip up the coast. The owners were great people and helpful despite us nearly missing our check in. Perfect stay if you want to visit the northern redwoods and beaches, and great location in Crescent City with plenty of food and entertainment options. Felt safe and didn't have to drive far to reach out destinations.

The room was enormous.!We faced the hills rather than the marina, but I think the fog horn would have been annoying, so we were happy. The hotel is well-located for a walk to the marina, but a car is needed to get to Crescent City, which was disappointing apart from the lighthouse and museum. A great breakfast and dinner restaurant was a quick walk away. The redwoods are an easy drive away, as is the coast.

The entire city of Crescent City was in a power outage due to a nearby forest fire. They were able to check us in in the dark but I am unable to answer any other questions about this facility. Good night sleep after a long day. Very glad they checked us in and did not send us to fend for ourselves like other hotels have done. Would like to go back and spend time there again.

Had a family suite, 2 big rooms, 1 had huge bed in it, other had 2 double beds. Breakfast was included and was quite alright. Free tea and coffee 24/7. Let us bring bikes into the room for security aswell, seeing as crescent city has a few homeless, more so in downtown, didn’t see them hanging around hotel though! Nice lobby. Staff nice.

A pretty standard hotel with a central location to Jedidah Redwood forest. This is the kind of hotel you stay at when you're like "lets camp" but then it's pouring and you don't really want to camp. It's beside the campground and next door to the best breakfast spot around. The staff is super nice and helpful.
