The staff at the front desk were very disrespectful
Even the manager was very disrespectful. Literally using profanity when dealing with me. Never in a million years have I’ve would’ve ever expected to experienced this unprofessionalism and disrespect from a Holiday inn Staff members. This place is Ghetto and need some reevaluating on their staff. It’s a great Disgrace to the company brand I’m fully convinced they just hired anyone off the streets with mental illness issues and no form of conduct. Just blatant disrespect right in front of customers.

The property was very nice for the location considering that it’s downtown Brooklyn, but the staff wasn’t very accommodating to me. I didn’t feel welcome, every time I went on the deck for a smoke security would come outside behind me. My room had a standing shower instead of a bathtub which I didn’t appreciate considering I paid almost 200 for one night and didn’t even stay the whole night. Also the don’t accept cash so the deposit policies are confusing

Immortalized in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were its own city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!
The borough is connected to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It's also connected to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the northeast, Brooklyn Bridge Park has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while southeast is the huge Prospect Park.
On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighboring Queens.
At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Renovations are underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden roller coaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.
Cheap Brooklyn hotels are great alternatives to accommodations in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.
Great restaurants and cocktail bars! Shout out to Laser Wolf, Deux Chats, With Others and Baby Blues (breakfast). Domino Park’s a great place to walk and see across to Manhattan. Easy access to the city via subway.

This hotel has a bus stop right in front of it that take you express into the city. During my stay i would walk the few block to the train station and once i was done with my day in the city i would take the express bus straight to the hotel, what a luxury.

Brooklyn is one of the most diverse places on Earth.
Brooklyn is one of the most diverse places on Earth. Old, new, rich, not-so-rich. Every cuisine and kind of neighborhood. Prospect Park is in great shape and safe. The new(ish) waterfront parks by the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Heights are in super condition and have great view of lower Manhattan. Walking the bridge is a really highlight. So much more reasonable than staying in Manhattan too, and just a really short subway ride to all the best lower Manhattan attractions and neighborhoods. People have a lot of crazy ideas that big cities are bad and broken in the USA. It’s just not true in Brooklyn. It’s a great place that’s better than it was 20-30 years ago.

Amazing view of the bridge and the Manhattan skyline,...
Amazing view of the bridge and the Manhattan skyline, especially when timing with the sunset. Plenty of places to eat. We had a 10 minute walk from our hotel in Dyker Heights to the nearest subway and there were loads of shops, eating places and cafes - including the likes of Victoria's Secrets and Saphora, so I expect the area to be growing and becoming more popular.

The deposit is not clear, and it is not mentioned on booking.com.
- Staff are kind but for me one staff was racist and I was shouted at and humiliated just for asking to send an invoice.
- I recommend the customer service is not that good as it destroyed the image creating a very unsafe environment for me as a customer.
- The management needs more personnel for the night shift because, during my stay with the receptionist, I felt unsafe and no one else was present to reassure the staff; instead, my brother had to gently remove me and lead me to the lift.
-The rooms are really small and the shower and toilets are in a very small space, for family members sharing a room is very difficult.
I would only recommend it if you have a short stay there and I do not recommend it for European travellers as the deposit thing looks like a scam. The currency converter was a bit weird too. I ended up paying 100€ extra and still waiting for my deposit.

NYC what can i say? so much!
NYC what can i say? so much! Not only does BK have a vibe of it's own, it has different vibes. As a former resident, I look forward to doing all of the things that I never did when I lived there. Botanical gardens is next on the list.
The rooms were large enough and comfortable. The location of the hotel was convenient to many places in Brooklyn by walking. The staff was helpful and we were happy with the efforts of the bar staff to arrange a long table for a large group attending a birthday party nearby. In fact, there were many events taking place at the hotel, including weddings and another birthday party.
We were surprised how expensive New York hotels have become but we eventually found Henry Norman in Brooklyn and found it to be a real treat. The hotel offers a low cost very acceptable breakfast and although no evening restaurant, the Brooklyn area is plastered with cheap, very good takeaways which although not the Ritz were safe, fun and even quirky.
The hotel is within walking distance of some of the best neighborhoods and eateries in Brooklyn, as well as the Barclay Center if you're in town for a game or concert. The hotel also has a great bar.Room is what you expect of an Ace Hotel - hipster vibe, comfortable bed and bedding, well-stocked mini bar. Room service was delicious.
I loved everything about this hotel. Never stayed in Brooklyn before but I ended up loving it. Williamsburg is a lovely neighborhood with so many great shops and restaurants. I really loved my hotel room. It was quite large by New York standards with a large balcony and a spectacular view. The rooftop bar was also amazing.
This hotel has the nicest staff. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable - especially all of the employees who work on the pool level. The hotel is located perfectly within Williamsburg and has the most beautiful aesthetics. My friends & I appreciate having such a comfortable home away from home.
Great hotel in central location. Walking distance to DUMBO, Brooklyn Bridge, Barclays Centre, Court Street shops. Always felt safe. Great customer service and housekeeping. Also close to Jay St Subway for easy access to other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Highly recommended.
The Bogart by LuxUrban is a smart hotel with friendly and courteous staff that finds itself in a fantastic Brooklyn location. There's a subway stop less than five minutes away on foot and a few stores, as well as cafes, bars and restaurants just a little further afield.
Great location, Smith Street has lots of nice restaurants and good metro connections to Manhattan and other Brooklyn areas. Pretty big rooms for New York standards with a king size bed. We liked the quick and easy breakfast at the hotel.
This is a great New York neighborhood in the heart of Williamsburg Brooklyn. The Pod's are known for tiny rooms but well designed. There is light and quiet. Public spaces in the hotel especially the roof garden and bar are exceptional
The Penny is a gem! The room was compact and well appointed; plus it was immaculate. The staff was exceptional. I have stayed at The Penny several times and will continue to do so. it is my favorite hotel in Williamsburg.
Just a few blocks to the subway. Easy walk to Dumbo with many bars and restaurants. We walked from the hotel across the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. Bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful when needed.
The location of this hotel in Brooklyn can't be beaten. It is opposite one main subway line, with 2 more subway line options only a street away. The rooms are large, comfortable, well appointed and quiet.
Nice newish hotel in a good location in Brooklyn. The room was clean and had everything we needed, there was paid parking available at the hotel as well. Overall a decent choice for the area.
Not much...............breakfast was package cheap muffins, everything very low end. I stayed at this hotel twice before and it was pretty good value for the money.
The hotel is in a great location in downtown Brooklyn, close to plenty of shops, restaurants and metro stations. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
