Room was nice size and comfortable bed. Big problem was a funky smell that I could not eliminate. Smelled like something bad had been left in garbage and stunk the room up. Garbage cabinet had fresh bag but odor was unpleasant. I was to tired to have to change rooms. Staff that cleaned the room should have notified supervisor so room could be corrected before making it available. 🥴

The rooms smelled and looked amazingly clean and upkept. It was a nice quiet place and wonderful that there were triple bed rooms available which is very hard to find when you are traveling with more than 4 people.

Austinburg and the surrounding area is beautiful.
Austinburg and the surrounding area is beautiful. It is close to Lake Erie with lovely drives and activities for all ages. We were there for a wedding so our time was preplanned, but driving through the area made me want to spend more time.

The location was good for the family plans that were going on in the area at the time. I have previously stayed at one other hotel in the area. The Hampton was a much better choice. It was cleaner, I felt more secure. It was more quiet. Also, at the previous place I was supposed to have a no smoking room and it was obvious that someone had been smoking in the room, but I was out of luck as that was the only room available.
