Alexandria appeared to be a small and safe city with a relaxing vibe right outside of Washington, D.C. We spent most of our time touring D.C. Staying in Alexandria allowed us to stay in a relaxing place after spending tourist time in the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan city.

Alexandria is one of my favorite places to visit!
Alexandria is one of my favorite places to visit! It's set up to be friendly to tourists, but it doesn't feel kitschy or fake. There are a lot of independent local shops and wonderful restaurants. I didn't have a single bad meal the entire time I was there, and most of the restaurants have outdoor seating, including with heat and covering in poor weather. The Torpedo Factory art center is incredible! Alexandria is also very walkable, though the brick pavement is a little uneven, and public transit is free. I've visited three or four times now and plan to go back often!

Overall the stay was good.
Overall the stay was good. Parking may be a bit difficult during heavy traffic however aside from my time of arrival I did not park until after midnight each day and was able to easily get a spot just a few steps away.
The backyard seemed nice but since it was winter and snowed during my stay I didn't not utilize the yard.
The house was clean and everything functioned as expected. When staying at a private property there's typically a welcome note that points out some key things, this property did not have that.
My communication with the property management was easy and my questions were answered quickly.
Since my trip was to attend an event at the National Harbor I do not have anything to add about Alexandria as a destination.

We stayed here because we drove and they offered free parking on site. Since Sept. 1, parking is $10 per night, still not bad compared to most hotels offering no parking at all. The Metro is about 3 blocks down Eisenhower Blvd and efficiently gets one to DC primary locations. We ate at a Bison Grill in a center across from the Metro station...pricey but good. Hotel food is minimal. We didn't explore Alexandria itself. Location was more reasonable for access to DC highlights. Would use it again..

The front desk staff and the manager were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful in trying to make sure I was comfortable. I needed a handicap room which wasn't on my reservation, and they made sure that I got one.
They make fresh baked cookies that you can smell while they are baking in the evening which was an absolute wonderful touch.
The room was clean and comfortable with a refrigerator and microwave.
I must say it was a really comfortable room and I wish I could have enjoyed it for another couple days, but I will look forward to returning.

Old Town/riverfront area was fantastic.
Old Town/riverfront area was fantastic. Never even knew it existed before this. Great bars, restaurants, nice waterfront park, lots of happy pleasant people out & about. Ate at Barca twice, excellent Catalonian themed menu. The garlic scallops are to die for. Went with a buddy who had a medical appointment & made a weekend of it. We want to go back soon.
Very friendly staff. Hotel in great location. Easy quick walk to restaurants and shops in Old Town Alexandria.
Potomac River is at the back of the hotel. The hotel is set back approximately 250 feet from the Potomac. There is a nice shaded patio at the hotel on ground level, adjacent to The Hummingbird restaurant. (Restaurant is actually part of the same building as the hotel). Very comfy beds & pillows. Great housekeeping crew!
A great place to stay! The room are big size and clean also their free breakfast and drinks is good! So we actually love this place!. It’s also right distance from the old town and water front Alexandria so you can just walk if you like or ride a trolley!. So our stay and experience her is Great!
The staff and property accommodated my German Shepherd and I without hesitation. Some hotels are reluctant to accept his breed because they sometimes are aggressive. Management provided a room that was on the first floor and in close proximity of the rear door that led out to the pet walk area.
Great apartment with nice features and amenities, including coffeemaker with coffee, great showerhead, magnifying mirror in the bathroom, and comfortable beds. Host was great and very responsive. Location in Old Town Alexandria nice but a little bit of a walk to restaurants and shopping.
The modern aesthetic was very pleasing. If traveling, the location will be perfect. The Amtrak train and subway stations are in walking distance even with luggage. There are fantastic restaurants from the hotel all the way down to the historic old town water front 6 blocks away.
My husband and I really like this place. It was clean, washer and dryer are free to use and the staff was nice and helpful. Great location and cheaper and more convenient than staying in a hotel room as it is a mini studio with basic cooking appliances.
Great location! Our power went out due to a storm and we needed a place to stay nearby. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Great location in Alexandria near public transport and Old Town. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Great location convenient to the Metro's blue and yellow lines, and all of Old Town Alexandria. The rooms are comfortable, clean and modern. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee, flavored water and happy hour wine!
Perfect location. Short walk to everything. Easy access to the Metro to travel to Washington DC. The property is very clean and comfortable. I will stay here again when I return to Old Town Alexandria.
The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was great. The room was also clean and had everything we needed. The location near to DC and Old Town Alexandria was very convenient for sight seeing.
In the heart of Old Town Alexandria, you can’t get a much better location in this area. I love the Sonder concept and appreciate the ease of the entire process. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.
Beautiful and modern, excellent staff and upscale residential vibe. Walking distance to great restaurants and Old Town Alexandria. Highly recommend this hotel. Great gym and outdoor lounge area.
The staff were friendly and easygoing. The lady, Debra, who provides the breakfast almost daily (if not every day), was very sweet and fun to talk to. Clean hotel and worth the money.
We loved a location and cleanliness of facility as well as closeness to old town. The only thing we would add is hair dryer and more face and bath towels please
