The location was the best you could ask for. Being at the mountain and starting your day skiing out of your hotel is the way to go and not have to drive up or take the lift for 30 minutes. The hotel staff was beyond friendly. They all put on little skits and dance for the holidays in the lobby for the guests. I speak very little Italian and the staff speaks English well which helps for someone that is not well versed yet in Italian. All of the guests staying there were very friendly as well. I was traveling alone and they all seemed to reach out and be welcoming also. I will most likely be heading back there in a few weeks if I can book a room.

This place has amazing views!
We stayed at a small apartment here. We had a queen bed and it has a small day bed as well. We had a table, a kitchenette, full bathroom, tv, a poltrona and a very cozy porch on the outside. We stayed here during ski season, it was the best decision. It is cozy, comfortable and it feels like a home in the mountain top.
I highly recommend you to try the breakfast. It is delicious, super fresh and all hand and homemade. They have professional coffee machines, eggs (harvested from their own farm), bread, waffles, fresh juices and yogurt.
The staff is super friendly. Stefano talks english, Italian, French and a little bit of Spanish so do not hesitate to come here if you are overthinking about the communication because trust me, he will find the way. He gives you tips in order to enjoy your stay in town a little more so just ask.
You can use the cable way or teleférico to come up to the second stop. Important thing it closes at 5pm.
If you are coming on a ski trip, it is amazing because it is not too crowded here and there are many different options of courses for every level.

Romana was super helpful with anything we needed including Covid tests prior to our return home to Israel. The location is excellent - ski in and out, above a great place to eat, a super market and a few steps away from the ski rental and ski school.
I strongly recommend it!!

A great little ski resort, perfect for all levels but especially for beginners since the easy slopes are so easily accessible. It’s also very close to Aosta and the cable car ride is easy and fun. Highly recommended.

Great little resort for a ski weekend. If your a intermediate skier its great fun and you can keep moving all day as the resort is well connected. Great slopes for beginner's to and a few slopes for a bit of free style fun for advanced skiers . Not a massive night life though quite nights. only a few little restaurant's . a sleepy but very relaxing place.

Pila is a lovely ski resort. Ample runs for a 6 day trip.
Pila is a lovely ski resort. Ample runs for a 6 day trip. Just over €200 for a ski pass giving you access to 2 other Aosta resorts if you want to travel out. Lots of restaurant and bar choice on and off Piste. A great resort I’d quite happily visit again. If you are self catering and have room in your car shop in Aosta for groceries before heading up the windy mountain road. We didn’t have room so had to head down after dropping off bags. No problem as arrived in in good time and didn’t have to use skiing time to do this. We loved Pila. Recommend for novice intermediate skiers or mixed groups.

It is a very nice resort and our second time there, the hotels position can not be faulted and the staff were brilliant.
Restaurant was very busy and too noisy for our liking. We should have been told to bring our own towels to use in the pool and swimming hats so we didn’t use the facilities. We could not use the sauna either as our13 year old was not allowed in and we were not prepared to leave him alone while we used the sauna ourselves.

What a little Gem of a place, fantastic skiing and atmosphere, its not a lively place at night but still plenty to do. Food and drinks were very cheap compared to other resorts. Road up is pretty Hairy from Aosta its 22km of hairpins and slopes but it was well gritted. I would always check if its open. The cable car has parking for free in Aosta and opens at 8.30 till 5.

I had thought I was booking for Cogne, as that was the place name I put in my search, so was surprised when I discovered I had booked for Pila, which is up a cable car and nowhere near Cogne - this was not made clear at time of booking.
However, I came to like Pila. Its downside is that it's a ski resort with vaste, modern hotel complexes and really quite ugly. However by using the chairlift one is able to get above all this and the mountainsides and Lago do Chamole are very attractive with good, well marked paths. And the views are amazing! It's a very friendly place with lots of mountain cafes to relax in the sun. There aren't many other places where you can stay at 7000 ft without having to drive or walk to get there - very useful gondola lift up from Aosta.
Great location for a week stay in Pila for skiing.
10min walk from the top of the building across the Church car park and up the road to the piste.
Well furnished apartment, everything required for self catering with an excellent local shop for provisions.
Great storage room opposite apartment for skiis and free covered car park.
Great communication with Donnatella and easy arrangements with key collection and drop off.
Look forward to returning for another vacation in the future.
First the good - this is a very comfortable flat and the location is brilliant. It’s right by the ski hire shop, supermarket and the ski school and chair lifts. You can get anywhere in Pila very easily. It’s extremely clean, roomy for a Pila flat and has lovely balconies on both sides which get the sun. The ski storage downstairs is ideal and there is a garage. Rooms are nice and there are some toys for the kids.
We stayed at three of the apartments in Les Flocons and they were excellent. Very comfortable and excellent kitchen equipment and facilities for breakfast. Delicious coffee. Very easy access to the ski gondola and ski rental and ski pass is in Pila 1800. Fast wifi in the top apartment. restaurants either in Pila 1800 or in Aosta which is approximately 25 min drive away.
This has been the second time we booked this hotel.
What we love about the hotel? The hotel itself is very outdated and dirty, it was one and only one reason we booked this hotel, its location, its literally on the piste so you can ski in and ski out.
The food was good, the staff in the restaurant, bar and entertainment was helpful although they speak little English.
Amazing apartment, super clean and nice. Bed really comfy and host has always been helpful and kind. We definitely come back. If you have no car but you want to go to Pila for skiing, this apartment is literally one minute walking from the ski lift. Super recommended!
The apartment was wonderful, clean and perfectly located with easy access to the ski slopes only a couple of minutes drive. The hosts are really welcoming and kind and I cannot recommend this accommodation more if you are visiting Pila.
We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Chacaril. The location is perfect for exploring the mountains and offers magnificent views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good food and breakfast.
Great views from the hotel restaurant and beautiful garden perfect to relax. Views on Mt blanc, Matterhorn and Monte Rosa. Great breakfast. Perfect starting point for walking or VTT tours.
