Good location and clean room. Annoying not having coffee/tea in the room. Complained about noise from next door rooms and our door getting banged on at 3am and staff just laughed and said oh well they are golfers!!!

An absolute must when in Ireland. Westport and County Mayo is the most beautiful part of Ireland we visited--even topping Dingle Peninsula. Westport is a great base--pretty town with good restaurants and pubs

I liked the live music in the bars, the choice of restaurants and the interesting shops. I got some lovely birthday presents while l was rambling round the town. Westport House and grounds are lovely, although the House is closed for renovations temporarily. Westport is a good base also for other interesting places in Mayo. All in all, good in any season.

Westport is a small town but has everything traveller could wish for. Loads of great bars and restaurants. Independent shops abound. There s s lovely atmosphere at this time of year. The locals are very friendly and it is a pleasure to visit. Close to the town are wonderful beaches and the village of Louisburgh nearby is also well worth a stop.
Finally Westport is about an hour's scenic drive from magical Achill Island.

Westport is a charming picturesque bustling Irish town situated in the West of Ireland and central to Connemara and Atlantic Way. High quality pups and eateries with traditional Irish flair, great for foodies and coffee shop lovers alike.
Traditional Irish pubs with Irish music overlook the town square and the old bridge which crosses the river where fly fishermen cast their rods. The local people are friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was superb especially because YOU decided what you wanted and they cooked it - custom made - especially for you! The location is excellent especially since I was attending a wedding at the very close by Knockranny Hotel. It is also just a short and very beautiful scenic walk from the town centre. The accommodation is superbly clean, lovely bright modern decor and the bathroom has the coolest mirror I ever saw! Smart flat screen TV with Netflix and Youtube. Lovely quiet location. Overall Excellent rating!
This was a big apartment that catered for our family group. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare any meal. It has a washing machine, microwave, large fridge and a dishwasher. The beds are very comfortable and the views over the bay were beautiful from our rooftop apartment. It was very quiet. We ate in the sister hotel, the Westport Coast hotel and food there was excellent. We will be back to the Asgard.
We had a Superior King Room and it was a corner room so it was very spacious. Room and facilities were clean and staff are very courteous. Hotel is close to town center and close to train station. The Spa is in the adjacent building, however, there is direct access from the 1st floor of the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful.
I stayed at the hotel with my wife. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast is excellent with a good choice for the 3 courses. I really enjoyed the meal and the table service was prompt and timely. The room and facilities met our expectations and I would have no hesitation in staying here again.
We will definitely be back to the beautiful Westport Coast Hotel again. Lovely scenic location. Very close to Westport house which was perfect for walking and sight seeing. Staff were so friendly. Ate dinner in the bar and had breakfast the next morning. Food and service was 10/10. Jenny (Wicklow)
Location was great, right in the middle of town. The hotel has installed two sets of windows on the front and our room had double paned windows on the side to cut down on outside noise. It was effective. Could open the side windows to let in the cool, western Ireland air.
Lovely obliging staff, beautiful food expertly cooked and presented, excellent location right in the centre of town, convenient cheap all-day parking right behind the hotel, spacious and spotless rooms, lovely bars and restaurant rooms that were ideal to relax in.
Location was perfect. Great rooms, fantastic staff, excellent breakfast. Our 1st stay-we are fans of this hotel. Westport proved to be a real gem for shopping, restaurants, outdoor activities, and site seeing. We will return.
Lovely hotel; superb staff; excellent food. Really enjoyed our two nights here. The hotel is a vibrant hub to all sorts of fun and frolics in the centre of the town, but the rooms are quiet and tranquil.
We dined in hotel due to outdoor dining same dinner menu each night with only 7 options, mostly fish ,breakfast was fine but waitstaff appear inexperienced
