Hotel is around the corner of a few supermarkets and a huge shopping mall. AC in the room works well and we had a nice view from our room on the 5th floor. Breakfast is nice, a combination between western items and local cuisine, it starts at 7am but takes about 7.20 to get all the items ready. There is fruit, toast and jam and chocolate sprinkles, eggs, rice, soup, noodles, chicken or fish.

Try visiting the Tangkoko National Park if you're keen on endemic wildlife as you can see the black crested macaque, kuskus, tarsiers, cockatoos, and so many other wildlife in the park.
Tasikoki wildlife rescue center is also a great place to visit if you would like to know more about what has been happening to the wildlife who lost their habitats or are being hunted for animal trades.

Interesting, some beautiful scenery in the country, the city and markets are dirty and lots of rubbish in the streets ,would look a lot better on the waterfront if it was cleaned up ,maybe parks instead of dirty car parks and weeds.
Sadly we didn’t go out to the island for snorkeling, next time!

A city not yet developed for tourists and so you will see the real life of locals. Friendly people. Many churches. Nice beach at Litupang. There is much that can be developed for tourism. Good to have a local sim card and Grab app to move around the city.

The people of Manado are very friendly.
The people of Manado are very friendly. The whole city is very safe for tourists. In fact if there's a time that you left some valuable things inside malls, restaurants or in any public place you visited, you are assured that such will be returned back to you.
The staff and the owner were amazing! Genuinely friendly 1st class service without exception. You could see, people actually liked to work at that place!
The food was excellent quality, versatile and very tasty, 3- course meals for lunch and dinner.
The manager went out of his way to lend me one of their laptops for my studies afterhours, thank you so much for your help and trust, Arjen.
And thank you so much to Jessie, for accompanying me to the Catholic Church in Manado during heavy rain; what an adventure!
I like the location of this hotel. I had outpatient appointment in Siloam Hospital, and staying at this hotel really providing comfort I need for my appointment. The staffs were friendly, and willing to take care of my luggage while I was attending my appointment. The rate for this hotel compare to the services provided was fair. The restaurant also provided wide range of delicious foods and the price was reasonable for a hotel.
the beds at grand luley are amazing! had really deep and comfortable sleeps in my time here - even better than 4 points at Sheraton Manado which I moved to after my stay here. i also highly, highly recommend the massage - one of the best i've had and i've had many massages across Asia! it also offered many different diving and snorkeling options. good base if you want to explore the small islands around the area.
I liked the quietness of this hotel. The beds were comfortable and the AC was working well. The bathroom was clean and it provided you with two clean towels and amenities. The shower was good but the water pressure wasn't. I didn't take the breakfast so I don't know about the options. The staffs were friendly. The check-in and check-out process were smooth and contactless. This hotel has gym but I didn't use it.
Close to a fairly quiet area near the sea with lots of restaurants (pork dishes, etc, and beer). Also close to the center.
Event though it is a big, impersonal hotel, at breakfast I managed to have a two-shot expresso made especially for me and they even came to offer me a second one! Thas was a first!
I like the fact that the hotel is fairly close to Megamas area. You would still need a car, or just walk like what I did, to Megamas. It's positioned close to the beach, so there's something to see–although not much. I also like that they have an ample parking space.
Everything. Food was amazing! Staff were amazing. Grace, Pak Rudiono and security team at front gate was super helpful and thoughtful.
Will definitely stay here, whenever I visit Manado.
Thank you for you best hospitality, Luwansa Hotel Manado!! 😍
Everything was perfect. It's just a luxury hotel for little money. Very clean. New plumbing. Excellent breakfast. I left my favorite T-shirts in the room, came back a few days later, they bring its back to me.
It is the best option for this price in Manado.
The beds are very comfy even if the street is loudyat night (no double glazing). Think about take your earplugs !
Johan is very kind and welcoming.
It was a good quality hotel with good facilities. As with other hotels in Indonesia, Acor will need to continue its investment in maintaining this property to its current standard
It’s a great place to stay, very comfortable. Friendly staff. The Indonesian dishes in the restaurant are top quality, and the portions are larger than one would expect.
Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff helped us to book a tour and also the bus to Gorontalo. The rooms are very nice and clean and the location is handy too!
