We enjoyed our stay at Soul Boutique. The location was central to many of the hikes we wanted to do in the area. The room was cozy, had a sitting area, as well as a refrigerator and kettle. As others have said, the breakfast was wonderful and was a great start to the day!

Everything was great! Very modern. Everything you need for a comfortable warm stay in the Zagori Region. Host is incredibly sweet and responsive. Great selection of breakfast items to fuel your day. We had dietary restrictions in our family, host went above and beyond to supply items for everyone to enjoy. Fireplace ready to light so you can enjoy a cozy evening when it’s cold outside. Very clean and kept up. Fluffiest towels we have encountered in Greece. After you figure out how to prime the hot water, great shower. We loved our stay here and are sad to leave, hope we make it back to this region one day. Very quiet spot in the evening, but you will hear the tour groups go by during the day.

A family hotel in a lovely village,
A family hotel in a lovely village, in my opinion the most worthwhile place in Zagoria. We stayed at the hotel for four nights; Sofia and her two sons, Christos and Theodore were charming, made us feel at home. Spacious rooms, excellent service, generous breakfast. The hotel also has an Italian restaurant with a selection of excellent and delicious dishes. And most importantly, it's their humanity and caring. warmly recommended!AAnonymousIsrael - 10Scored 10
Unforgettable 5 days in Monodendri.
Unforgettable 5 days in Monodendri. On first day, we had a hike from the Village of Vicos, which is a few kilometers down from Monodendri, to the villages of Koukouli and Kipoi, over beautiful stone bridges. The next day we hiked to Lake Drakolimni. On the third day, we visited the Voidomatis River and the beautiful villages of Papingo and Mikro Papingo, and bathed in natural stone baths. Monodendri is an excellent choice for a base if you are visiting Zagori. Village is small and calm, tavernas with excellent food. A couple of interesting places to visit nearby: Monastery of Agia Paraskevi (at the outskirts of the village accessible on foot), and Stone Forest ( >1-hour hiking or 20 min drive). A beautiful and well preserved village, in an area of great natural beauty. The village has some nice restaurants and coffee shops, while the Rizarios Foundation organises interesting exhibitions. It is a good starting point for exploring the area, especially if you have a car with you. Walks from the village to the viewing point or down to the river are very good as well. Main thing: if you want to walk to the viewing point first find the old square with the platanos tree, the trail starts there and is also marked from the square (blue trail). It is also a good spot to leave your car and start a hiking holiday. It is not as romantic but cheaper than Papingo. We also loved the restaurant opposite the hotel (Dionysos restaurant), where we felt at home very quickly and where the offer good local food at reasonable prices.

Monodendri is a very nice village in the heart of Zagorochoria. There are a couple of very nice taverns in the central square of the village with nice food. Close to the central square also start two hiking trails: the one that crosses the Vikos Gorge and the trail to the neighboring village of Vitsa. On the main road there is a coffeeshop that serves great coffee.

Our room was spacious with a superb view of the mountains. The tips for restaurants in the neighbourhood were great. The best part was however the breakfast. It is served to your table and it is very generous. Everything is home made and just excellent. We stayed here to do the hike through the Vikos gorge and it is very convenient as you can just start from the village square which is 100 meters from the hotel.
