Limenaria is a terribly crowded locality. I recommend it to those who do not go on vacation for rest. If you have a week off and you want to enjoy the sea, but also to rest after a whole year of work, Limenaria is not what you need.

The view from there is breathtaking but the drive in is not for the faint hearted. We were really pleased to have local residents lead us up there. Small town in the south of Thassos with plenty of tavernas and bars by the beach, I could advice the Navagio bar on the beach at night for wonderful cocktails and scenery. Busy town at times but generally quiet, more family oriented. Mainly Balkan and Greek tourism. Great place in the south, which has the nicest beaches, with sea amenities to use a base to visit this wonderful underrated island. It is not beach front but that is not problem at all, Thassos has a lot great beaches so you will drive anyway. The apartment was cleaned every day, completely with the terrace and everything, towels changed every day, and sheets every second day, I think, if not every day. The hostess is great, very nice and informative, she is always available for assistance. There is a free parking place next to the building. We had a great time.

Small shop is just opposit to the entrance door of the hotel. Cleaning was every day. I appriciated small filter coffee machine and even coffee for it. All stuff in the room was new and work properly.

And those pancakes... even if one decides to not book a room in Agali, or if the hotel is sold out, you SHOULD go and try the pancakes!

There is a shared parking lot with another hotel there that gets locked overnight. The room is small but has everything you need including air conditioning, a small bar surface, a small kitchen with a hot plate, fridge, plates and utensils to make some breakfast. Even though one of the accessories in the bathroom broke when we arrived, it was quickly fixed the following day. Awesome service and care.
