Clean and beautiful room with all amenities. Mr Giorgos informed me about everything (restaurants, villages, beaches) and he found me a car in a very good price. The location is calm and there are shops next to the Hotel such as mini market and a grocery. The breakfast is very good.

At first Chios town seems very noisy.
At first Chios town seems very noisy. We only stayed one night but had another afternoon waiting for our ferry home. The second time was much better. We found a nice square with a café and 2 mesodopolia just inside the old town walls.MollyGreece - 10Scored 10
Chios is a little gem in eastern Aegean sea.
Chios is a little gem in eastern Aegean sea. I was surprised. It has some nice beaches for swimming but if you choose it you choose Chios for its architecture, historic stone buildings of Thiamiani stone and landscape. Not mention the masticha tree :)

I spent only two days in Chios on my way by ferry from Athens to Turkey. The first day was spent exploring the town and the second, the country side to the north onboard the green bus. For only 5 euro I enjoyed an amazing four hour adventure traversing winding mountain roads, stopping at remote villages located in spectacular and beautiful landscapes. I wish that I had at least another day to explore more of wonderful Chios.

Chios is not the most touristic of Greek islands, but it has kept its authenticity. We appreciated the huge cultural variety: from archaeology to Byzantine relics (Nea Moni is exceptional), over Genovese Kampos or the absolutely unique Masticha villages. Boat trip to Oinousses is very much rewarding too, the North is absolutely worth paying a visit of one day. Kanaris Tours is a very good option for trips, taxis are cheap and hunderd percent reliable. The food in Chios town is of high quality.

I loved the history of the island, the very friendly people and the variety of beaches both quiet and busy. Travelers who drive on the right are not so easy to travel around by car. Safer and maybe cheaper for a couple to visit the island with day tour buses.SAVVIDOU - 10Scored 10

Urban island and city of Chios. Along the harbor street pretty noisy - lot´s of traffic. Impressive ferry maneuver in the harbor every night. Found nice beaches where you´re sometimes just for yourself. Highly recommend to enjoy the sunset @To Asteri in Avgonyma! Mesta & Pirgy very nice cities to explore.

Good location in terms of large, free car park nearby (Chios town is a nightmare for parking!), and just a couple of minutes walk to the waterfront and all the restaurants, shops, bars etc. Hosts very helpful and flexible with regards to arrival times; we arrived very early on our second stay, and the lovely Dora came early to let us in, which we greatly appreciated after an overnight ferry journey!

The port is in walkable distance. The street is narrow but we always found a spot to park our car in at most 1min distance. Breakfast is delicisous and very pleasent to have it in a cafe having a sea side view. We plan to visit Chios and stay in this hotel again.
