I arrived late at night via KTEL from the ferry in Gavrion. I got lost in the neighborhood trying to find it. I called and Mr. Karaoulanis came immediately with his car and picked me up. The service was excellent, beyond expectations. When I checked out, I accidentally left a shirt behind. Again, Mr. Karaoulanis ensured I got it. I intend to return in the future. I highly recommend it. I know Greece well and can say this service with honesty and with a smile is rare, the best I've seen. I appreciated it.

Spotlessly clean apartments located in the best part of Andros town to stay. Top host who will respect privacy but also be on hand with anything at all needed. Very knowledgeable in the island topography and for useful information to get the best from your stay. All kitchen amenities needed are present, hot water is constant, shower great, bed amazing, parking spaces, in short I needed nothing that wasn’t there for me. Good to know- there are recycling separation bins 100 Meters towards town so please use them to reduce landfill 👌🏻

It is close , you can get there with the fast ferry from Rafina in just over an hour. Teh island ahs a big tradition in shipping an dthe ship owners have kept Chora in a charming state. You have batsi if you want some more action but otherwise the small villages are nice an dfar from the extremely busy islands like Paros, Mykonos etc. Prices were high but nothing insane. It gets crouded too in mid August. Although an aegean island it has lots of waters and at least 2 hiking destinations with waterfall etc. Some monasteries to visit. Before you leave dont miss buying a box of amygdalota (almond sweets covered in powder sugar , local delicacy). Some of the beaches are hard to access but offer an amazing view.

Beautiful island amazing beaches amazing people the roads are a bit TIGHT for two cars to pass in the villages beaches are 20 to 55 min from Chora Andros…There are beaches to just set your towel down with bringing your own food and drinks and then there are beaches that have all the amenities like beach lounges with umbrellas which were at $15 euro a set and they are equipped with beach bars that serve amazing drinks and good ….Chora Andros is beautiful during the day and very busy at night it could use some more restaurants and clothing shops thry hage but most of them are outdated !!!! You must make a reservation in Chora restaurants as they become full and can’t accommodate you for dinner I don’t know about other months but August is a very busy time it has a lot of tourism…

Andros is the most beautiful island in the world - picturesque, untouched, serene, traditionally neoclassical and unique to other Greek islands since it has both sea and greenery - a real gem in the Cyclades.

Great island.
Great island.
Not too touristic so the prices are quite low and it's quiet on the one hand and on the other there are not many places to party.
But there are beautiful beaches with easy access by car (regular, no need for 4x4)
People are very nice anywhere we went.
Definitely recommending this island for an easy relaxing vacation

A lovely little town, it's big enough to offer a good selection of restaurants, shops and small museums without tourism completely taking over. Andros isn't a party island and Chora is definitely representative of that, with more of a relaxed family vibe. Location-wise, there are nice beaches a short distance away and many more in the south of the island.
This is an excellent place to stay for seeing the island of Andros. It's not actually in the historic town of Andros, but just a 5 min walk on the outskirts, with plenty of on street parking. The apartment is spacious and bright, with baclonies that have views of the sea and the famous lighthouse. It also is filled with colorful artwork that make it feel very homey. Restaurants, shops, and the historic town are easy walking distance. The town is also centrally located for exploring the rest of the island (if you have a car).
Highly recommend staying here. Very comfortable for 3-4 people, 2 bedrooms, double & 2 singles, also has a lounge. Fully equipped kitchen, large fridge, washing machine. Air con in all areas. We were there in the heat wave and the power tripped and the host came over straight away. We got a lift to and from the ferry port for an extra charge which was super convenient. Host gave up local recommendations. Great location & we loved Andros. Much quieter Greek Island.
A great hotel, Ralia is an exemplary hostess, kind and ready to help in everything. The place is spotlessly clean and sheets and towels are changed every day. The hotel is located in Simeria near many springs and hiking trails within walking distance and near hiking trails in the mountains within a short drive by car. The town of Andros is close at a 10 minute drive. This island and this hotel allowed us a great vacation. highly recommend.
The couple who owned the Egli were extremely helpful and friendly. I was on a walking holiday and arrived back at the hotel as the lady of the Egli was coming back from somewhere. I was only in my room 5 minutes when she arrived up with home made lemonade. It was delicious as was the substantial breakfast, home made jams etc. Would highly recommend this place and if I’m ever back on Andros I’ll be sure to stay here again!
The hotel is in a renovated, elegant house built in 1900 by a wealthy ship owner. It overlooks the charming, pedestrian-only street in the heart of Chora. The hotel is within easy walking distance of restaurants, beaches, and the remarkable Modern Art Museum. The best aspect of the hotel is the warm welcome from the owner and staff. The owner, Maria, cooks amazing breakfasts of organic food from her farm.
The Hotel was perfect in every way, private parking (a must) and situated on the door step to the pedestrianised Main Street. The hotel staff were all excellent but in particular we have to mention Christos who at breakfast helped to start our day with a smile, a laugh and some good information. Also the breakfast itself was amazing. We were treated to an upgrade and a free spa treatment. Thank you.
Hosts are very friendly and available for any kind of help. Apartment is very clean, every day refreshed and cleaned, specious with big terrace and nice view of Andros town and sea. Apartment is far around 5min by car from the Andros main street. Free parking is available. Finally, it is good choice for any kind of travelers for reasonable price.
The studio was clean, well-equipped, and has a good location, i.e. right across the road from the beach, with a supermarket right next door, places to eat along the same stretch of road and is within walking distance to the center. Most of all, the host was very accommodating to a family with a baby and we appreciate the nice gesture very much.
Very nice, clean, new-ish hotel on the outer edges of Chora, easy walking distance to the main areas. We got engaged shortly before our stay and the hotel greeted us with a lovely card and some little treats. Throughout our stay, staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and available. The view from our room was incredible and matched the photos.
Friendly stuff, beautifiul special clean nice hotel.
We received towels every day.
The rooms are beautiful.
The breakfast is perfect. The dinner also.
They pay attention to everything.
The guest receives special personal attention.
We are very satisfied.
Fantastic holiday was.
Thank you for the stuff!!!
I recommend everybody.
Everything from start to finish was perfect at Vasskili. Nicholas and his family looked after all of our friends while they were in Andros for our wedding. The accomodation was in perfect walking distance to Andros Chora, and provided the perfect sit for us to all chill and enjoy each others company. Everything was great!
The surrounding environment of the house was relaxing while being located close to a super market and 5 minutes away from Andros main city (by car). The house was fully equiped and the hosting from Giorgos was exceptional. It offers the ideal escape for 2-3 persons group in the beautiful island of Andros.
Excellent location with breathtaking view on the bay, impeccably clean and comfortable room (air condition units in both bedroom and living room), and accomodating hosts\employees that cared to all our needs. Was also allowed to check in earlier and thus enjoy the sea opposite the hotel straight away.
The hotel was in a lovely location on the mountain right by a fresh water spring. Inside was full of character and very clean. The dining room had two separate outside areas one overlooking the sea and another large garden courtyard. We enjoyed the pool area which was kept very clean and tidy.
Very nice hotel in a beautiful town house, in the middle of the island's main town (Chora). The rooms are spacious, the view on the sea is amazing. Also everything is close by and reachable on foot, the little shops, the cafés, the beach and its restaurants. Can only recommend!
The Hotel is wonderfull, George took care of us very well. He helped us with renting a scooter gave us very good recomendations for food, drinks and beaches. The breakfast was the best we had in all 4 Hotels we were at greece. I can warmly recomend staying here.
Lovely facilities and welcoming host. She provided rich and beautiful breakfast at short notice and was helpful with everything we asked for. The hotel is located just outside town, it’s convenient for Chora and for travelling around the island.
The host was very kind, he helped us with the luggage and with all kind of information. The apartment was very clean and comfortable.
Would definitely come back!
