We love Weston-super-Mare. We have been a few times now.
We love Weston-super-Mare. We have been a few times now. The beach is my favourite that I have ever been too. It is incredibly clean and big. Amazing walk along the promenade and the town centre shopping, especially the sovereign shopping centre is Great. We have two small children so the pier and what used to be Funland was brilliant, but we are so gutted that it is no longer there. Hotel requires refurbishment. Rooms were dull. On entering the hotel, there was a foul smell near the lift. No bathroom washbasin mixture is available. Closet ceiling light was not working. Don't like advertisement done on coffee mugs. Seemed like I was having coffee in some donated cups. Good Breakfast was fairly good Staff was courteous and well mannered.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

I am 71 and came from Bristol. Sunday school outings always went to Weston. My parents and brother all ended up living at Carlton Mansions next door to the Grand Atlantic. I love returning to Weston and spending time on the beach.

Weston super Mare is an old fashioned seaside resort trying hard to keep itself attractive. The renovated pier has offers amusements and cafes and the derelict old pier adds character. There is a sandy beach but at low tide there is a lot of mud between that and the sea. The marine pool is interesting. There is pleasant walking on the nearby headlands Worlebury to the north and Brean Down, a short drive to the south. There are plenty of places to eat - we went to a great Italian place called Il Michelangelo.

Great. This has to be possibly the best family seaside holiday destination . So many other seaside resorts have sadly gone downhill ,but not so Weston the beach and promenade are a real credit to the local council, its services and employees. Weston super mare has everything a family could want for a great holiday experience.AAnonymous

The decor was modern and had lovely pictures on the wall. Having breakfast delivered to the room was novel, but good, as it meant we did not have to be up and dressed at a specific time. The breakfast itself was plentiful and the owners were very accommodating when we asked for an extra sandwich portion. Whilst the hotel was not on the seafront, it was within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and The Playhouse.

Breakfast excellent and cooked to order, including toast. There is a lift in the hotel which helps to move your luggage to the floor you need a lot more easily than some hotels without one. The room was spacious and had a good bed - we slept well! From the doorway you can see the windsurfers whizzing by and on clear evenings the most spectacular sunsets (see my picture of one).RichardUnited Kingdom

I had a great night's sleep in the kingsized bed. The bathroom is modern and clean, and the shower is hot and powerful. We were extremely comfortable, and can definitely recommend this hotel. It's in a great location, as it's only a short walk away from the town and the seafront.
